Be forewarned I am not ever could be cool enough to eat here. You might be. An appreciation for pink, pink bunnies, rock and roll and a vibrant happy atmosphere all help. The food, playing, taste and portions are perfect. Literally couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast place on our travels. Come early and hungry, maybe have someone else drive and leave full with a smile. If the pink, rock and amazing staff can’t make your morning bright your a black hole. A mandatory stop for anyone in Omaha, living or passing through. Well worth the reputation and high reviews all breakfast places should aspire to be so good.

SCBC is my absolute favorite breakfast place in Omaha. It’s the funky wallpaper, the mid century inspired tables and chairs and above all, it’s the food. The dishes are beyond the standard a.m. fare; they’re inspired and incredibly flavorful. The coffee is smooth, the hash browns are crisp yet tender in the middle and every egg dish is cooked perfectly. But don’t just take my word for it; you must experience the brecky bliss for yourself

My boyfriend and I went here 2 days in a row! Great flavors, even greater service and atmosphere. I got the Huevos rancheros and Kelly’s coffee (definitely recommend) and my boyfriend got the club with Hash browns. Both incredible, wish we had one back in OK!

We arrived early and were seated immediately-no wait, no fuss. Within minutes, water and coffee were already on the table, setting the tone for a smooth and welcoming experience. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing.

Now the food? Absolutely phenomenal. The strawberry rhubarb purée was a standout-bright, fangy, and the perfect complement to the savory dishes. The maple bacon was thick, incredibly tender, and so perfectly cooked you could cut it with a fork. And the shrimp omelet? Flawless. Packed with flavor and perfectly executed, it left nothing to be desired.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to start their day with great vibes and even better food.

Wonderful place we discovered after looking online for the best breakfast in Omaha. Because we sat at the counter we did not have a wait. Our waitress, Camille was top notch. She was attentive, though very busy and had a genuine smile on her face. When we inquired if it was always this busy she said the weekends were always swamped but it is also very busy during the week. Her next remark was,”I just love working here.
The food was incredible. I had poached eggs with Canadian bacon on an English muffin, I skipped the hollandaise sauce. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the Canadian was thick and tender. The best part was the lemon curd and berry pancake my husband and I split. The photo isn’t the best because I started to spread the lemon curd when we took the photo. It was an incredible treat!

Oh my what fun this was! Delicious generous food. I had eggs benedict, hollandaise sauce was divine, fresh fruit and coffee great. We were there about 7:30 and got right in but by 8 folks were waiting for tables. Service was great. The side pancake was giant. Fluffy and perfectly cooked. Pretty pricey including tip for two of us $48 so was a treat .

This place was busy on a random Thursday at 10am which speaks to the quality of this restaurant. The service was very friendly and food came out relatively quickly and hot! The Banana Pancakes were absolutely sweet and satisfying. The side of two eggs and sausage links was a perfect addition. The Saddle Creek Standard was excellent. Overall, this eatery deserves each of the 5 stars.

Went in for breakfast last weekend and had a pretty decent experience overall. The place had a relaxed morning vibe, not too loud, which I liked. I ordered the classic eggs with toast and hash browns, and everything came out fresh and hot. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Coffee was refilled without having to ask, which is always a plus. Service felt friendly and unpretentious, like they actually enjoy working there. Prices seemed fair for the portion sizes, and I didn’t feel rushed to leave.

Food- meh…..not worth it. The pancakes were absolutely flavorless. I mean zero flavor no vanilla, no spices, no anything. The lemon curd was just shmeared on top in a spot had flavor. But the actual pancake was flavorless.
*They called a “stack” one pancake apparently? I ordered a stack and my son ordered a “double stack” (thinking he’s getting 4 pancakes) Since when is a stack one pancake?

*The bacon was drastically undercooked, the hashbrowns were not even seasoned. No salt. No seasoning. Nothing. *The eggs were soft scrambled watery.
*the server wouldn’t let us substitue a pancake for toast. I’ve literally never been to a restaurant that wouldn’t allow this. Even if there is an upcharge. Disappointing.
*No option for hot coco for non-drinkers & non coffee drinkers.

Ambiance- they crammed so many tables in to the restruant you hit peoples elbows walking past. And even my son said “its too loud in here.” My kid complained about the noise level its so crammed. Not welcoming.

We had never been to this restaurant and came based off of recommendations. We weren’t offered suggestions. We didnt get asked if we had been there before.

We love supporting local but were disheartened. The entire experierence from the service, to the crammed store, to the food.
