Best sushi for the price in town.
We arrived before opening and there were already at least five people waiting ahead of us — always a good sign. Fresh fish, generous portions, and excellent value. Definitely worth the wait.

Super large pieces of sushi/nigiri, very fresh, and attentive staff and sushi chefs. We had 6 people at the table, and the sheer amount of food was overwhelming! Prices seem high, but totally worth it because the portions are so big. Thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere as well.

I mean, I’ve been coming here for years and years and years and there’s never not been a line out the door. It is exceptional Sushi with consistently fast and good service and an environment. That is what you expect in a fast paced sushi restaurant. I love the portions. I love the flavors. I love the freshness. It makes my tummy so happy every time I go here.

Super fast service, very kind waiters. The serving sizes are HUGE, very well priced and worth every bite. I was astonished how huge these slabs of fish were–as well as their sushi rolls. Everything was fresh, tasty, and worth drooling for.
The Unagi btw–was my favorite in my opinion, it was SO succulent and addicting, yes I will be back.

Came here with a few friends when I was visiting and it was great! The waitress was super nice and very communicative. We went around 6pm and they were pretty busy, we waited for about 25-30 minutes which wasn’t a problem at all, and the staff was super accommodating! The food was great and the portions are super generous! Inside is very cute but it is also pretty small and tight. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good sushi spot! 🙂

Perhaps the most legendary sushi restaurant in Portland. Short wait for a party of two on a Friday, quick service, and good value. We ordered too much food. A good rule of thumb might be; don’t spend more than $30 per person, unless you want leftovers.

Great sushi, very fresh and flavorful. The portions for both the sushi and rolls were surprisingly generous. The service was great, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
