When we arrived, we were seated right away. The restaurant is very nice, bright, full of fun art and clean. We were greeted by a very nice and attentive server, and ordered drinks while we looked over the menu. This was our first time visiting so my wife was very excited because she loves Mexican Cuisine. I honestly CANNOT repeat or remember what I ordered, (I believe it was a birria plate of some sort) and my wife had the fish tacos. Her tacos were amazing, but I wasn’t very excited about my food because I ordered the wrong thing. I showed the picture of what I wanted to the server and she explained that this dish had a crazy amount of cheese which I can’t have so I was appreciative of her explaining. The Birria was okay though. The beans tasted like black beans I believe and I ABSOLUTELY HATE BLACK BEANS!! I wish that was something that they disclosed on their menu to give an option to eat them or substitute. The rice has a different kind of flavor than what I’m used to eating as well. All in all, great experience. I will definitely dine here again because I want to try some other dishes!

we were planning on having a girls day at another place ended up being closed and so we looked up the closest place turned out to be this location and it was a 10 out of 10 experience! Not only was the food so flavorful the drinks were perfection. The staff was on it and made sure everybody had exactly what they wanted. I definitely recommend going here. for drinks, I got a Mojito and my best friend got a piña colada. We both absolutely loved our drinks and we recommend them.

Not typical tex mex food, but representative of various locales in Mexico. The food was good but not what I expected. I really can’t critique the dishes except to say they were not as expected based on my experience with Mexican food. For example, the white cheese on the enchiladas was unusual. The chicken enchilada had little flavor. The beef was made with ground beef and was pretty good as the ground beef contributed moisture as there is little sauce on the enchiladas. My main criticism is that the cheese was not melted. The plate was not hot as is expected with Mexican food. I’ll try something else next time.

What a great dining experience all around. Food and service were both excellent. We always start with the chips and salsa which was homemade and came in both green and red. Also had a margarita which was made with fresh limes, had the taco salad which had great taste and texture and ordered a few Sopes. The waiter was excellent as he knew the menu and was very attentive. Can’t wait to go back and try new items.

Absolutely delicious! We had the birria torta (beef-cheese melt) and a chicken fajitas. OMG, the best we’ve ever had! The beef was so tasty with the dipping sauce and the bread had melted cheese. The fajita had a really good unique twist flavor I couldn’t put my finger on, delicious. The atmosphere and service were both fine. Will go again!!

The food and flavors were very nice. Queso and chips were not that great and did not taste homemade. The Taco Salad was very good and I would have enjoyed it more with a little salsa in it. Unfortunately, chips and salsa are not included with the dining experience.

I love this place.
I moved up here about 2 years ago from Texas and I was hard-pressed to find a Mexican restaurant that didn’t use salt and ketchup as the only seasoning.
I found it. Sabroso is an auspicious name because the food and flavor is amazing. They actually had roasted serrano peppers on the plate, which was awesome. Fresh tortillas were delicious. I had the carne asada which made me happy and a pitcher of their own margarita. Oh yeah. They have their own home made salsa and hot sauce, just like back home. I needed a nap after all that food. Maybe I can talk them into doing cabrito…
Needless to say, 5 stars all around.

This place is fantastic The mojitos, OMGosh the mojitos! I would come back just for those alone but the food was sooo good. This is now my #1 favorite restaurant! Everything here is quality right down to the refried beans which actually had flavor and were delicious and I’m not even a bean person. We had the nachos, the quesabirria tacos and a chimichanga. I am counting down the days till we go back. This place is miles above the other Mexican restaurants around town.

Excellent food! My Wife had the Birria Tacos and I had the Mole Enchiladas. Both were amazing. The margarita I had was flavorful and not super syrupy, it tasted like it was made from fresh juice. Highly recommend!

Update (11th months later):
Food was good as before. Tried the Burrito Al Pastor this time because the pineapple sounded like a really good ingredient or marinade for the chorizo, however I could not taste anything remotely pineapple, which was a bit disappointing.
Food was very good, better than most other Mexican restaurants we’ve eaten at. I had a Chimi, my wife had Tamales and a friend had the Taco Salad. Prices are pretty much the norm as most sit down restaurants.
Will definitely come back!
