The food is actually good, but the customer service when it comes to dealing with problems about the food is an issue. I am a soldier that recently moved to Colorado so I was excited to see that there was a soul food spot here. Me and husband ate here one time before & the food was good so we decided to try it again. Only issue was that when we got home, my husband unwrapped his catfish and saw there was a piece of hair FRIED & embedded into the catfish. Keep that in mind for the next time I’m about to say.
I called the restaurant to let them know and hoping that we could just bring that plate back in exchange for a fresh one. Instead, I was told that “you’re the last person to come in and order & we’ve been serving food all day & you’re the only one that had an complaint about hair in the food, so what you want me to do? Refund you?”
Like yeah… a refund is cool but since that was our meal for the night, I was completely fine with exchanging plates. When I mentioned that option to her, she just said “No, when people like you call and say that.. I’ll just give the refund back.”
Sure, lose money instead of fixing it I guess. I’m not sure if she was trying to imply that I was lying about the hair in order to get a refund back but to be completely clear, I promise I am not hurting for $20 that bad.
This experience has left me a bad taste in my mouth and this business will not get my money again. Experiences like this is why it’s hard to support black businesses.

Got the pig feet w two sides and ox tail w two sides. Good eatin but not exactly what I was expecting, esp w the pig feet. Will try other menu items nxt time around. The to-go box had a burnt hole on the bottom which leaked practically all the sticky ox tail juice into the plastic bag, which dripped all over my car seat……. 🙁

I stopped in on a Sunday. The restaurant wasn’t busy and I was helped immediately. I ordered the smothered pork chops dinner with greens and mac and cheese. My order was ready in less than 15 minutes. Overall, it was tasty but not spectacular. The greens tasted canned with meat added. The pork chops, while smothered, were dry and not very flavorful. I wish there’d been more gravy. I enjoyed the Mac and cheese. I’d recommend giving this place a try. I’d eat here again but would definitely try something different.

Delicious and very flavorful. Was only in town for a convention so nobody was able to give me recommendations. So happy I chose here. Definitely worth it and definitely soul food

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! We knew we liked Sabrina’s as soon as we walked in. Staff were friendly and greeted us instantly and started up conversations, making us feel welcome. Being from Tennessee, I can be very skeptical about catfish, but I was not disappointed in the least. I decided on a catfish plate with collards and okra. All of which was excellent. We will definitely be going back to experience more of the menu. There are so many classics to try and get a little nostalgic over. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Owner Sabrina is very down to earth. She loves what she do. Very cozy and inviting. I will be back. We got there late on Sunday night. It was 3 drivers and she was patient with us and we cut up like we were at home and had a good time. Even though she was closed. We appreciate you much love!

This was the best food I have ever had in my life. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I got the fried cat fish, green beans, and Mac. 10/10. I’m always on the hunt for good soul food, I live north of Denver but will absolutely make the commute again for this!!!

Absolutely phenomenal! Authentic soul food cook with love. The Red beans and rice is so flavorful and absolutely fantastic. The catfish has a breading that leaves you wanting more and more. I could go and just live off the sides alone they are sooooo good. Mac n Cheese is so creamy. And the greens…. Absolutely wonderful perfect amount of saltiness and spice. Call ahead if you can as it seems they stay busy!

I am from Alabama and I have to give this place MAD respect! The food is so damn good and it took me back to my first family reunion. Since I have been living in Colorado, this is the ONLY soul food spot that deserves the words ‘Soul Food’ in it’s name! I am happy as hell I found this place today! The second I spotted the sweet potato pie I ain’t have a doubt in my mind I was going to enjoy the food and I was right!! All I can think about is my grandma’s cookin . From the 90s r&b music playing in the background all the way to the black representation of famous figures in Hollywood, the ambiance and atmosphere sets the whole tone for what to expect. Ya’ll got my heart and a new customer, stay soulful .
