Decent spot to get some Pakistani food. They do get very busy so plan accordingly. Sometimes the food does take a while to get to your table given cook time and all but it is worth it to try this place out. Appetizers were really good and the niharis we tried were also really flavorful and goes really well with naan.

Sabri Nihari truly lives up to its reputation — hands down the best Pakistani restaurant in the USA I’ve tried so far!

We ordered a wide variety of dishes, and every single one of them was exceptional. The lamb chops were tender, juicy, and perfectly spiced. The beef nalli nihari was rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good — exactly how authentic nihari should be. The goat brain masala was beautifully cooked with just the right balance of spice and texture. The lamb biryani was aromatic and full of flavor, with every grain of rice infused with deliciousness.

Their laccha paratha and onion chili naan were fresh and flaky, perfect for pairing with the curries. Both the mango lassi and mint lemonade were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. We ended our feast with rasmalai, which was soft, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending to such an indulgent spread.

To top it all off, their chai was out of this world — rich, perfectly brewed, and full of authentic flavor. The service was great as well — attentive, polite, and prompt. Can’t wait to go back again!

Service team were excellent and the atmosphere is perfect. However, I don’t feel the food lived up to its hype. Maybe it’s because we dined in on a Wednesday night, but I don’t think that should’ve been a factor, as a restaurant should be consistent with their taste. We ordered the traditional sabri nihari and mixed grill. We enjoyed it, but felt there was room for improvement with the mix grill. Nihari on the other hand was the better dish, of course.

I tried Sabri Nihari for the first time. Some dishes were a bit spicy for me, but I really enjoyed every dish. We started with a soda called Pakola, which was good, and also had some fancy non-alcoholic drinks with bubbles on top. For food, we ordered Chicken Biryani, their special beef dish Sabri Nihari in rich gravy, and Chicken Kabobs. For dessert, we had Faluda, Ras Malai and chai tea. The portions were big, so we left full and happy and even took some food home. The servers were very friendly and attentive.

Sabri Nihari definitely stands out in its quality, taste and generous servings size. The first time I entered the place I couldn’t ignore its ambience and great manner of service. We ordered beef haleem and Nalli nihari with naan to go. Each of the dishes were enough for two people. Taste was extraordinary and flavorful. Their food has authenticity and would definitely visit again.

We have been here so many times. Our go-to order is mutton biriyani, kebab platter, onion Kulcha and of course the mango lassi.
This time we tried the pistachio ice cream and the matar paneer. Matar paneer was delicious.
They always serve quick and fresh.
The price is reasonable compared to the portion they serve.
The only thing we don’t like is finding a decent parking. Since we mostly come on weekends, it’s a nightmare to find parking on Devon during weekends, especially on Saturdays.

Best halal & Pakistani food in the area! Great pricing, fast service and you can’t go wrong with any dish off the menu. Had to return the following day to try different dishes. Must try!

Huge quantity, excellent quality, nominal pricing, Tasty food. We ordered 1 mutton biriyani and 1 fallooda. We had left overs and couldn’t finish as enormous quantity was given.
Restrooms were clean. They had prayer mats to pray inside. Kids friendly.
Cons:
* Wish the service providers knew English, otherwise they were great.
* Parking was a problem-we paid for Parking and walked to the restaurant.

Food is amazing. Beef Nihari and Mutton Biriyani were tasty and flavorful. Portion was generous. Naans were big and good too. Biriyani is enough for 2 persons and Nihari also can be shared with 3 people. At last tried Faluda and that was good too. It’s a bit pricey place and ready to spend at least $20 person. There is something I read that if number of people is 5 or more, they will add 18% table service fee or something like that. Parking is extremely difficult in Devon street. So I recommend park in the Republic of Chicago Bank parking lot with their hourly parking fee which is about 7 minutes walking.
