I stopped here on my little getaway. I order the Combo 1. I had Sunnyside up eggs/ham and bread. I don’t know if that was cheese on top of the bread or some kind of butter. Whatever it was it was delicious. I also order a pizza and beef empanadas with a Malta. I would definitely come back to this spot again. Service is on point.

Great service. And the food incredible. I need to add photos of the food. You can even order on the phone and by the time you get there, your order is ready for you to pick up.

I was visiting my son who is new to the area and I found this Spanish bakery on Google. I was excited because it had good reviews overall and the variety between food and bakery looked really good. Today Sunday 2/22 in the morning around 11:00 am. The cashier who took my order was welcoming, took my order and delivered great service. She deserves 5 stars! Unfortunately, that’s when the excellent service stopped. I waited over 30 to 40 minutes for my take out food. I got tired of waiting and got up from my chair and asked the new lady that was by the cashier register. Do you know how much longer I need to wait for my food? It’s been over 30 minutes. My order was two egg, ham and cheese sandwiches and two kids breakfast. The staff member had red hair an a pink bow on her ponytail, unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name. What’s embedded in my memory is how rude she was while answering my question. Her answer to me was that when the restaurant pager they gave me when ordered goes off that’s when my food will be ready. She added that the kitchen was running 15 to 20 minutes behind on sandwiches. I have noticed that there was a bag on the top of the counter that was laying there for a long time so I took a chance and asked her “do you know who that bag belongs to”? she looked over at it and then went and checked the receipt taped to the bag and realized it was my bag of food that was sitting there. She then got an attitude was even more rude and refused to apologize to me as a customer. She had an opportunity to turn it around knowing that I have been waiting, unnecessarily for a long time for my take out food. I looked at her and I asked her, “are you going to say anything? what just happen is not OK. And with and angry straight face as well as with a nasty attitude she told me “I would let her know”. I guess she was referring to the manager. She could’ve easily been the hero and just say to me, I’m sorry we didn’t realize your food was already out and sitting in the counter getting cold. “I apologize and we will make sure it doesn’t happen again”. That would’ve made all the difference in the world because mistakes do happen and I completely understand that. She is a reflection of that Restaurant (Saborealo Bakery) and she makes them look like they don’t care about the customer. I will definitely never buy there again and that’s a shame because the cashier that I met when I first got there did an exceptional job. Maybe when the owner reads this review, he will realize how important it is to Monitor your staff because one bad apple, it’s all that it takes. Employees like that are the ones who runs your business down to the ground. I left angry, and that should never happen when you’re giving a business your hard earned working money. She definitely ruined my day.

The restaurant is beautiful no doubt. Big problem is the inconsistency, and I can see how the reviews went down from almost 5 star to reaching almost less than 4.

Why inconsistency? People don’t like to see how certain promotions in food like “El Chinchin” some days you get a full container and other days half a container. Yes is a great deal if you get what you pay for!

The owner serves me today and the rice in the bowl was less than half the bowl. The other day it was all the way.

Don’t get my hopes up to come back if you’re are going to serve different everytime. This is the last time I eat lunch here. It is not worth it.

I mentioned it to the employee at the cash register and she said that I was wrong! Excuse me I have eaten here many times and have always see the inconsistency. That comes from the lack of training.

I hope they get the act together because like me there are many others with the same complaint.

I know I am nothing just leaving as a customer but many will follow as they continue with their lack of consistency. No only in the amounts they serve but the flavor consistency. Chicken today was tasteless!

I’ve been here a few times, and at the beginning, the food was good and still is with some adjustments.

Yesterday, we purchased two plates. The mofongo was tasty but just missing the garlic to make it perfect. The churrascos needed a bit more seasoning as it was slightly too spicy for my taste. The quesitos were overfilled with cheese, which made them a bit overwhelming. Overall, it might have been a slow day in the kitchen. I’ll definitely recommend them regardless. God bless!

I had the pleasure of dining at Saboréalo Bakery for breakfast today with my husband, and I must say, it was quite an experience! The atmosphere is a charming blend of authenticity and warmth, perfectly capturing the essence of Puerto Rico. I loved the various Puerto Rican quotes adorning the walls; they added a unique touch to our dining experience.

The menu is impressively extensive, making it hard to choose just one thing—so many tempting options! While I couldn’t sample the sandwiches this time, I was definitely intrigued by the delicious hot food displayed at the entrance. We opted for omelettes, which we both enjoy. However, I did have a small issue with the vegetables inside; they were cut too large for my taste, and I found myself removing them.

On the bright side, the crispy bacon was a standout for me, along with the good sausage and perfectly crispy French fries. The coffee was decent, but what truly excited me was the fresh-squeezed orange juice machine—this is the only way I’ll order orange juice!

The place was buzzing with activity, and despite the busy environment, the staff was friendly and greeted us promptly. Our food did take a little longer to arrive, particularly the coffee and orange juice, but the bustling atmosphere felt like controlled chaos, and it worked.

I highly recommend Saboréalo Bakery for anyone looking for a family-friendly breakfast experience. With a menu that caters to all tastes—from bakery items to hearty warm plates—there’s truly something for everyone. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes!

So I keep coming back because the food is always amazing, only note I would make is some consistency issues every now and then but overall the food is always amazing 9/10 would be a 10 if consistency was. Service is great the girls at the front desk are always willing to help with options and describing what each dish is if you ever have any questions and they’re always super nice. Now, this next thing is more of a personal preference and nothing else. It is always waaaay too loud in there. Either music or people around are just too loud for my personal taste. Makes it feel like a high-school cafeteria. But if thats something you can block off or just pick up to go i highly recomend this place

Great place! Best sandwiches and mayorcas!

Update!

Have been coming for the Chin Chin a $4.99 dish. This is awesome guys! The problem is that there is no consistency.

What do I mean!?

Simple, I come often and the amounts are never the same. One day the put a lot of food and other days very little.

I wish I would have taken pictures of previous amounts of food. The picture only shows a portion of rice and beans and is less than half the tray.

Not even a spoon full!

Sad day! No more chin chin for me! Total waste of money today!
