Such a charming place. And the service and food were really good.
We ordered both the Ceviche Mixto and Pescado, the Churrasco skirt steak, with Chaufa, Fried Plantains, French Fries and Beans.

Sabor Peru is truly in a league of its own. The food is hands down some of the most flavorful and satisfying in the area. The restaurant offers an intimate yet lively atmosphere, and you’ll leave with a big smile, feeling completely satisfied.

It should be possible to give Sabor Peru an extra star!! Love this staple in the Caldwell community. We love everything we’ve ever had here. All of the steaks are cooked to perfection. The ceviche blew my mind and obviously the chaufa is a go to. Diana is so hospitable and has always made us feel at home to match the homey aesthetic! Wouldn’t recommend any other Peruvian restaurant! Love Love Love this one!

I love Sabor Peru for an intimate and elevated dining experience. The owner Diana, is inspiring how she puts her heart and soul into her business and is so creative with traditional Peruvian dishes. Came here for a birthday celebration and we got lucky with the right amount of attention and delicious dishes. I got the anticuchos and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted and I’ve tried in traditional Peruvian restaurants. Shoutout to our waitress Dania for waiting for us to finish dinner and being such a sweetheart. Wishing much continued success and many more creative, twists to traditional Peruvian dishes.

After a successful escape room with the family and a good family friend, we tried authentic Peruvian cuisine at Sabor Peru to celebrate.
The entrance is deceiving, as you head upstairs to the top floor, you are welcomed by a warm, inviting, home-like feel atmosphere which surprisingly fits several tables for diners. Quaintly decorated with various cultural artifacts and warm colors. The staff was also very friendly and hospitable.
We tried the Calamar, assorted appetizer platter (Camarones Coco, Papa Rellena, and Huancaina), Churrasco, Mar y Tiera, Chicken Soup, A La Plancha, and Arroz Con Marisco. Everything wad delicious!

Food was amazing. We got the calamari to start and then we each ordered the a lo pobre (steak and fish). So good and huge portions. The restaurant is also really cute and reminded me of the small restaurants I would visit in South America.
