I had an amazing experience at Sabor de Mexico! The food was truly authentic and full of flavor. I ordered the mixed chilaquiles plate with bistec and it was absolutely delicious. I also loved that they served the food in traditional clay dishes — it made the whole experience feel even more authentic.
The service was wonderful as well. Our waiter, Vanessa, was so sweet, kind, and very friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed and made the visit even better.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with great service, I definitely recommend Sabor de Mexico. I will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I went the other night for dinner. Yall need to go tonight!!! If you are in town for the Rodeo try it out!!! They gave us chips with refried beans that had chorizo blend into them and topped with chicharones!! I had two bowls!! The Albondigas were so freaking good!!! My husband’s Sopes were divine!!!

Had a 60th birthday party for my sister here…it was very special , everything was perfect!!! The young ladies took excellent care of us!!! I would have given 5 stars , but the food menu is a little limited , and the beef bisteck mini tacos , although delicious, were very dry and tough. Everything was very tasty , I imagine that with so many food orders in one group , it sat and got dry. Everything else went off without a hitch!!! Thank you so very much!!! I will send my friends here!!

One of the best places to eat at in town! Right off loop 410 and Bandera Rd. Sabor has beautiful plating and delicious food. We been coming here for years and we will continue to come by. The tacos are good size and they are not stingy with the portions. Kids got bacon and egg and bean cheese tacos. He uses full strips of bacon in the tacos and the egg is a good amount. I got the spinach omelette. It comes with a side of papas. Fresh avocado! My wife got the chilaquiles! Huge portion with a lot of beef. Staff is very friendly! They do have a huge bar.

This is a nice little restaurant that uses lovely clay dinnerware. There’s plenty to choose from the menu, whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I went for breakfast and had a pleasant meal. Highly recommend the Cafe de Olla and Conchas con Nata. Both of those alone, I was plenty satisfied. The crepes were appealing and delicious, but definitely on the sweet side.

This was only my 2nd time here, and the service and food has been consistently great! The café de olla is some of the best in the city! No sweetner needed because it is on the sweeter side as its served. Today I got the omelet ranchero and it was 10/10! Different than other omelets that I have had, in a good way! The servers here are amazing, the vibes are nice, & the food is great! All factors that make up for money well spent on a great meal!

1st time here. Loved that they have you chips with beans and pork rinds in them. I ordered menudo with 2 tacos thinking the tacos were going to be small, but my god they were bigger than expected. My girl got the chicharron quesadillas and they tasted good. Only thing that lacked and we noticed this in the area is the waitresses take longer than usual to come around.

I used to work in the IT department at Conn’s and often came here for lunch and to get my nails done frequently. At first, one of the waiter(s) seemed kind to me. But around Christmas, he failed to return my credit card after my meal. When I came back, he claimed I had “forgotten” it—which was untrue.
I immediately showed the staff the alert from my USAA bank account, but instead of taking my concern seriously, the waitress and manager seemed more worried about appearances than about protecting customers. They told me I needed “proof,” even though I had already shown them the alert.
What devastated me most wasn’t the money [1,200] —it could be replaced. It was realizing that their staff would protect someone who acted like a predator. This waiter even tried to manipulate me with stories about his daughter and how he was “trying to change his life.”
I cannot support a business that dismisses clear evidence and shields staff at the expense of customer safety. Zero stars for this establishment as well as their prejudice, and discriminatory practices.

Never disappoints, the food here is always simply amazing! We love love LOVE the chips and beans at the start it’s so addicting and tasteful. We always get mini tacos here and it comes with a side of beans that is so delicious. The food here and service is very consistent and you can just taste the love and soul they put into the food. Always recommend and it’s cheaper than our local restaurant definitely always worth the stop.
