I recently stopped here for lunch and unexpectedly ran into an old friend of mine, Michael from Elizabeth, whom I hadn’t seen in years. I asked him why he had come so far for lunch, and his response was simple: “because the food is really good.” He wasn’t joking.
The food, the drinks, and the service truly define this place. The owner is consistently attentive, making sure everything runs smoothly and that guests feel well taken care of.
I’ve also visited at night, and the atmosphere was exceptional. The music was on point, the drinks were prepared quickly and tasted great, and having access to parking was a major plus—no need to worry about searching for street parking.

Terrible experience. I came with my wife to have dinner & drinks for my 32nd birthday. We got there around 11PM. We ordered 2 margaritas and I asked the host for any margarita with tequila. She came back 15 minutes later after dancing around and drinking and got our food order. I had to legit scream in her ear for her to hear me because the music was toooooooo loud. I couldn’t even have a conversation with my wife without having to pull her ear to my mouth. I order a lomo saltado & she ordered a chicken ceasar salad. In the pictures I saw online, it looked completely different. I legit got some chewy steak with plantains and nothing else. The salad was a basic ShopRite bag of salad. The music choice was terrible. They kept playing throwbacks of Diddy & random r&b hits from the 2000s but the only patrons there were Latino and there was about 10 of us (place was basically empty). As soon as I walked in I knew thing were off but it was 11pm and there’s not much other food choices at that time. Anyways, i could manage everything at that point but then came the check and that’s when I knew this place was tryna rip people off. I order 4 margaritas in total. On the menu it says margaritas are $8 each. That’s all the drinks I ordered, no water; no shots. We get the bill and we got charged $32 for 2 margaritas & $24 for the next 2. (They were the same margaritas and got charged completely different prices and not at all the $8 that was on the menu)
Then we got charged for Don Julio TRAGO for $14 and 2 Don Julio SHOTS for $16. We didn’t order any shots so I told the waitress this but because of the loud music, I couldn’t even understand what she was saying (she was definitely drunk or on that powder because the interaction was crazy) I kept telling her why does it say the margaritas are $8, so 4×8 should be $32 in total but I’m being charged $86 just for drinks. She kept saying “it’s cause they put tequila in your drinks” & I’m just like wth I ordered margaritas with tequila … and they automatically add a 16% gratuity on a table of 2. My bill total was $137.44 with the tip included of $16.95.
The bill should have been $66.49 by taking away the gratuity they added of $16.95 & the $54 extra they charged for shots we never took. Avoid this place at all costs. I already filed a claim with my bank and I’m reporting them to the BBB. Absolutely terrible place. I’ll rather go to Trenton then ever go back to this disgusting establishment.

Local bar. I wish I liked or hated it. I stopped in 3pm on a Friday for a couple of beers. I was one of 4 people. This probably is more of a night venue. The bar is deceiving as it is larger than the outside would suggest. Not much parking, and in a residential area, so good luck.

It was a nice holiday when My guys dragged Me out of My boring day and took Me to J’s Bar I can say I Myself and the guys had a good time I even encourage one of my friends who is very shy to dance with one of the ladies I told him that it will be the time of his life that will always bring out the joy in him, the service was not bad the cook could use a little more practice on his cuisines cause basically when we snacked on some of there appetizers from their menu after that we pretty much was hitting the can I guess because the cook was rushing the food that he was not paying attention because it wasn’t cooked properly I would advise the cook to make sure to prepared the food more appropriately other than that me and the guys had a great time and My friend GILL will never forget the dance of his life so I say Much LOVE to the Crüe

Days is a great place to go for a few drinks and the food. Not only do they have a great staff, the weekends bring DJ’s and karaoke certain days of the week. If you like to sing and dance, this is a great place to go. Shout out to Mario!
