I crave enchilads almost everyday at work, so I race to Sabor Latino. Each time I go, they prepare my food in a few minutes. Everything is hot and fresh. I don’t wait long. They make the food right in front of you so you can see the care they put into making your order. I would have given 5 stars for service, but today, for the first time, the young lady added the tip into the price. This upset me because I have always given over 20%, so she cheated herself and secondly, she just gave me the receipt and didn’t inform me that she put the tip in already…which was less than 10%. Aside from that, I love this place.

Unless you are Hispanic and speak Spanish as a primary language, it is a very unwelcoming place. Walked in and asked the simple question of do I seat myself or do they, and was treated like I was about to call ICE on the place. After a awkward minute of everybody looking at each other and only I speaking any discernable English, became evident I was not their target customer and it was a Spanish speaking local’s only place. Got the vibe they were thowing out and showed myself out. Looking at the other reviews on food quality and lack of proper sanitation practices, looks like I dodged a bullet.

Dined in and had a steak burrito and shared nachos & cheese. This is literally the worst “Spanish” food I’ve ever had. The food literally tasted like steak ums & cheeze whiz. Not impressed at all. Also did not feel welcomed at all.

DONT EAT HERE. while sitting there waiting on my take out I saw FOUR health code violations including a lady touching raw meat and not washing her hands. Not wearing gloves touching my finished food. Their nacho cheese is literally kraft cheese whiz (I saw the bag). And the food was bland. There were absolutely no seasonings. I saw her cut up a plain piece of chicken and that was my taco meat. Just don’t.

The absolute best Mexican food around. I haven’t eaten here in 2 years, moved 6 hours from this location, but tonight I remembered how good their food is. Exceptional quality, extremely authentic, and very good prices. Don’t let the plaza it’s in define this restaurant, it’s a 10/10!
