Excellent food choices and the food is delicious! I had the Fire grilled chicken with Mexican coleslaw! Delicious! Dessert, the fried cheese cake in raspberry sauce yummy! The other dishes were from others in our group and everyone enjoyed their food. Our server was the bomb too. I can’t remember her name but she was amazing. She waited on the group with the people from Philadelphia, North Carolina, Indiana, and two Kansas locals were with us!

Overall, it was nicely decorated in the inside but the food was mid. The salmon croquettes was okay but the fish tacos were mediocre since it lacked depth and needed more flavor even with the vegetables added. Also, the small portion sizes weren’t justified for the higher prices and the quality of food. Overall, I’ll probably won’t go out of my way to this restaurant again.

Empty restaurant, but the waitress still only came to check on us once every 10-18 minutes? Would liked to have had my appetizers much, much earlier.
Food was… Okay? 5.5-6/10, kinda dry. Sides were much better than the entree. Forgot my sauce. Really expensive for both the quality and for the quantity. Not what I would have expected for a nearly $30 salmon, and $30 mahi mahi dish.

Highly recommended! I decided to host my wife’s 50th birthday at Sabor, and it was a phenomenal experience. They made it easy to book what we needed for our group and seemed willing to bend over backwards to accommodate the specific needs of what we wanted. When we got there, the servers and other staff offered to help with whatever we needed. Throughout the dinner, the service was fantastic. From planning to completion, they were very welcoming; we felt like they genuinely appreciated our business. They also have a great menu if you like a variety of Latin American options that you can’t get just anywhere, and the food itself was amazing.

Sabor is always such a great experience! The food is fresh and delicious every time, and the service is consistently friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite spots in downtown Wichita!

OK, Sabor. I had about three hours to kill before my evening flight so you know I’m searching for a good local restaurant that I can flop down and work for a few hours. I chose this spot and I am glad I did. The garlic shrimp in the tacos tasted like they walked right out of a paella pan in Spain and right onto my plate. And don’t you dare sleep on that queso and corn. Highly addictive. I think I ate the entire appetizer while I sat there. My bad. The server was so cute. She kept checking on me and probably was wondering why I was sitting there so long. I love finding these little gems in small cities.

The service was excellent. I love the variety of Central and South American dishes that are uncommon to this area. The food was flavorful and presented nicely. The prices are extremely high relative to the portion size and class vibe. Maybe I’m a little biased as I’ve had most of these dishes while in their respective counties.

We ordered a plate for two and the food was cold. I inquired if the food was made to order because it came out super fast and was stone cold. I was made aware it’s not and put in a warmer that might be broken.
For the prices here I anticipated made to order food. The arepas were very good And the queso was fine but a bit watery. I used to come here all the time years ago but it doesn’t seem like the quality has kept up.
Our server was excellent but someone isn’t checking the food before it goes out.

Good spot downtown. Ordered the paella and it was ok. Calamari chicken mussels and small shrimp. Not super flavorful and it definitely did not have that good charred bottom. Came in a regular bowl instead of the traditional pan. Drinks were more of a highlight.

Sabor is one of the finest restaurants Wichita has to offer! The food, drinks, atmosphere, and the staff were all amazing! Our waiter was training someone and still catered to us with ease.
We came on a Sunday for dinner and it wasn’t jam packed like Fridays and Saturdays. I really enjoyed that slower paced and not so crowded vibe.
Here are the must try items:
Ceviche, calamari, fish tacos, scallops, paella, steak medallions, and their margaritas.
Give this place a try and you’ll be hooked!
Happy eating!
