Sabor Dominicano Deli, Nanuet NY opened its doors to the Nanuet and surrounding Rockland County community in 2019 in the midst of the Covid 19 Pandemic. We are owned and operated by the Lopez family who originated from the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic. Sabor Dominicano Deli is proud to serve freshly prepared, authentic, home cooked Dominican cuisine including staples like Tres Golpe Mangu, Carne de Res, Pollo Guisado, and Sancocho. We also service Dominican desserts like Tres Leches, Flan, Dulce de Pino, and other sweet treats! Sabor Domincano Deli also serves fresh home made juices daily including Morir Sonando, Chinola, and Jugo De Pina. For those ice cream lovers, we also service Hershey’s ice cream daily.

I got the rotisserie chicken combo…Man worst chicken I’ve ever had, wish they had a 0 star. The chicken tastes like u had it sitting in the fridge for 2 days and heated it up in the microwave. The beans they put malageta like if you are eating Dulce de habichuela… overall I give this meal a -0 out of 10….never again.

I order pork chops with white rice the gentleman who took my order said I’ll get two pork chops instead I only got pieces not even two whole pork chops. I also told them no beans and they messed up the first time and placed beans . Instead of making me a new dish she just took the pieces of pork chops off the beans and put it in another place. Won’t be going back to this place very disappointed

The lady in the front was very friendly and welcoming. I’m from NYC. This is the best Dominican food I’ve had since moving to Rockland County. We ordered the mofongo de chicharrón and the pollo Al horno con arroz y habichuelas. I also had the sancocho and jugo de chinola. Everything was delicious and fresh. The prices were very good too. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes.

The wait in the resturant is crazy they say 15 and it takes double that time never a fail have to wait here alot more and its should not be that way they should just say more time instead of waiting there !
