I’ve lived in DFW since 1997 although I’ve lived in New York and Puerto Rico. I saw this establishment on face book and tictock and decided to give it a chance. I got there at 8pm on Friday Halloween night. Being Puerto Rican, I know what the food should taste like. I first ordered white rice with beans and stewed chicken and was told there were no beans left just 2 hours after it opened. I also ordered an empanadilla of pizza and ground beef. It was obvious that they had been cooked a long time ago. They weren’t flaky. The pizza one had an odd taste on the first bite. No mozarella cheese or marinara sauce. It tasted like a stuffed chicken Alfredo sauce that went bad. The ground beef one also did not taste right. It had a sour like taste on the first bite that I had to also throw away. You should take pride in what you serve as a Puerto Rican. Please stay away from this place and save your money. It was a waste of time and money.

I have been visiting this place since their open. Since then I have been enjoying this place with my family and friends. I can tell you that the food and atmosphere reminds me great things from our beautiful Puerto Rico. The empanadillas, mofongos, guajitos, arroz con gandules are amazing. Do not forget to ask for your piña colada!!! Too. Well, every experience is different… but I can tell you that Im very happy to have this place near us. Thanks!!!!

My wife and I had the carne frita, pernill, and pastellios. All the food was amazing! The people here are all so kind and welcoming it’s like a little piece of Puerto Rico right here in Denton Texas. We will definitely be back.

We had arroz con gandules and pernil. The food was AMAZING, and the man was so kind!! Great service, great food, and great experience!!! Could not recommend it higher!!!!

Was so excited to try this food truck and it was awesome! Authentic Puerto Rican food with a rotating menu!!!!! I’ll be back to try their arroz con gandules and eat more delicious food. The food truck has some tables in the shade where you are able to sit and enjoy the evening.
