Good food and great vibe! Their homemade sauces are bomb especially the mango and chipotle sauces. The green aguachile dish is excellent – a must order. You can get it mild, medium or spicy. We opted for medium and it definitely packed a punch. I also liked the coconut shrimp. It’s an appetizer but the portion is huge and the sweet sauce they serve it with is addictive. The cheese crust shrimp tacos are awesome – that cheese crust really makes it. I tried marlin for the first time here and I wasn’t a fan but might just be my preference.

I have been coming here since 2016 and they never disappoint. The menu is consistent and still as good as the first day I tried. My menu highlights and the tropical tostada, tacos pescado and coconut shrimp. With every order you get a selection of chips and sauces which are dangerously good!! Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Firstly, the atmosphere and the service are great. It’s an open patio with a covering that looks very appropriate.
The tortillas and tacos are great, a little different from the offer commonly found in other restaurants. The fish soup and desserts and also great experiences.
The fish towers are a fun concept, but get boring fast unless you’re sharing it with a couple people.

Food is so flavorful and delicious! Came here because a friend recommended and it did not disappoint. I came back the next day. Yesterday I had the tostadas de tuna and today I had the caldo de Cameron and the hard shell shrimp tacos. Sooo soo good. Service was amazing, Emmanuel is on it! Great recommendations from him!

The food was excellent. Everything was tasty. Service was fast. Compared to other seafood restaurants in Tulum i think they are the best from taste wise and also price. They accept cards. The only thing i dont like is that they do not have free filtered water. Whats up with that.

Single young-at-heart female… totally enjoyed the seafood tower. I was treated the same as other couples/groups, which doesn’t always happen. Felt safe going to/from my hotel and thanked the hotel staff for recommending the restaurant and the seafood tower. I will go back in a heartbeat next time I’m in Tulum.

We had a fantastic meal at Sabor de Mar in Tulum! The seafood is incredibly fresh, and the seafood towers are outstanding—loaded with flavor and beautifully presented. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes.
The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. The restaurant has a nice, relaxed open-air atmosphere, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a good meal. It’s also very kid-friendly, which made it even better for our family.
Located just a street or two off the main strip, it’s a perfect place to escape the crowds while still being close to everything.
Highly recommend! We’d eat here all the time if we could!

Really cute little restaurant. Juan was a terrific server. I had a marlin taco as well as a shrimp taco. Both were good, but the Marlin taco, Baja style, was really outstanding. I have guests coming to visit me soon, so I was trying out different restaurants. We will definitely be returning.

Oh my goooooodness, I just had the MOST DELICIOUS ceviche that I have truly ever eaten – and I love ceviche, so I’ve tried a lot. The tuna ceviche at Sabor de Mar was almost a religious experience. The sauce that it was in was incredible!!! I ate it with a spoon like soup at the end. I couldn’t Not. I don’t even know what else to say other than “OMG” and “Wow!” So, if you like ceviche, please go try it. I’ve also heard from several friends who eat here regularly, that their fish tacos are the Best! The staff are great! The Agua de Pepino con Limon was also delicioso. Go, eat, sigh with delight.
