Sabor Cubano was absolutely amazing! We went for both breakfast and lunch, and they were kind enough to let us order from both menus, which was such a nice touch. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious. The guayaba y queso discos were phenomenal, and the pork was so flavorful and perfectly cooked—honestly some of the best we’ve had.
The portions were very generous, and the prices were excellent for how much food you get. On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. They even surprised us with complimentary food and a 15% discount since it was their one-year anniversary at this location, which made the experience even more special.
Amazing food, big portions, great prices, and wonderful service. If you’re looking for authentic Cuban food made with care, Sabor Cubano is a must-visit. We will definitely be coming back!

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but these I ordered the beef tacos, and they had to be the most disgusting tacos I’ve ever had. $11 for two soggy “tacos” in a POOL of grease with no sides. It looked like they collected all the grease from the night and poured it into the container with the tacos. Menu stated that it comes with a side of guacamole as well, which it did not. Really feeling ripped off. Disappointing for the most expensive tacos I’ve ever paid for were also the worst.

The food is absolutely amazing! I am gluten and dairy free and the staff was incredibly attentive and considerate of those restrictions. The owners and team are kind, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere very relaxing, and made it easy to enjoy my meal. I can’t wait to return!

My husband and I came for lunch. Staff were friendly and the place offers different seating options. We had the mango and guava batidos to drink which were delicious. We really liked the croquetas and the sandwiches. We recommend the ropa vieja special.

Out of curiosity I dropped by Sabor Cubano for lunch, and I’m glad I gave it a try. The location has unfortunately hosted a number of different businesses over the years, and I hope this one sticks around. The interior is fairly basic and functional, but the staff is very welcoming and polite. I was able to sit right down, and after getting a short introduction to the menu I settled on the ham croquettes and the Cuban sandwich. The croquettes were delicious and full of good smoky, hammy flavor, and the dipping sauce was great. The sandwich was large and had plenty of meat. The pickles help lighten the flavor. While perhaps not my favorite example of a Cuban sandwich, it was definitely good. It’s also the only place to pick up a decent Cuban sandwich in Holland, which counts for a lot I think. I’d like to give the ropa vieja sandwich a try sometime in the future, and I hope this place sticks around.

My husband and I had a late lunch/early dinner yesterday at Sabor Cubano II LLC.
This restaurant is located in the old Lincolnshire Deli, in the strip mall across from Russ’ Restaurant, on Lincoln Ave., on the Southside of Holland.
Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and chose where we wanted to sit.
Our server was very nice and friendly. She told us about some items on the menu, which was very helpful.
First, our server brought out an appetizer that was small balls of deep fried potatoes and a remoulade dipping sauce.
The potatoes inside were very light and fluffy. These were excellent!
Next, she brought out some Cuban tamales. Wow, these were delicious!
They had a slight sweetness in the masa. The middle had pork inside and there were thick chunks of bacon on top!
She then brought some deep fried Cuban stuffed potatoes with meat and cheese inside, along with the dipping sauce. These were a big hit with my husband!
Next, she brought our Cuban sandwiches we ordered. These were filled with pulled pork, ham, lettuce, tomato, sauteed onions, cheese and thin pickles slices.
The Cuban sandwich was an excellent choice! We did end up taking part of our sandwiches home with us because we filled up on the appetizers!
The Cuban music in the background was very fun to listen to while we were there!
