I can’t believe that I have not tried this place sooner. I got to try their tasty chicken and beef empanadas and they blew me away. They tasted fresh, the fillings are delicious, and the crispy masa on the outside is sooo good, im hooked on them! I can easily eat 20 of them!! I also saw that they had arepas on the menu, so I had to give them a try, and they didnt disappoint either!! I’m used to hand sized arepas, so these ones are kinda made more like gorditas, which i love too. The chicken and chicharrone arepas were delicious. They are kinda big and messy but I used my hands anyways. I think next time I will try the burger!! Give this place a try, the staff is nice and friendly, and the prices are decent.

The food is really good, it tastes like home.
The service was a little slow and I definitely recommend to improve customer service, cleaning tables, drink refills and check on the table again to make sure everything is doing well…

This review is exclusively based on the process of ordering for pick up through the phone, as I’ve personally never had problems with the food or service provided.

When making an order for pick up, they request you through the phone not only your debit card number and expiration (which is standard in a lot of places to avoid making food that could end up not being paid for) but they also ask the security code on the card and the zip code the card is registered to.

Can you see how this is a big security hazard? I haven’t seen the first payment system that asks for zip codes when giving card payments manually

This little restaurant makes me feel like I was in Bogota ,friendly personal nice atmosphere even that is small. You enjoy waiting for your meal .
They have a small grocery store where regular customers buy Colombian products, greeting everyone around
The food is the same as Colombia presentation is well executed. If you live north of Austin, there is no need to drive downtown for a Colombian restaurant. I hope yo enjoy this hidden jewel

Cheerful, amazing service. Food tasted great! I had the beef, cheese, and chicken empanadas, yuca fries, and arroz con pollo. Their house salad dressing is so good! I tried their mango drink, too. I recommend!

This is an outstanding gem of a restaurant. We were the only english speakers in the place, and the waitress was kind enough to let us order in Spanish and not laugh.

Service was fast & friendly, and the food was outstanding.

Give this place a whirl. ¡tan delicioso! Vamos a volver!

Pros: Buñelos tasted very authentic and were served fresh, empanadas were really good as well. There was a cool wall of Colombian snacks, drinks and panty items that I couldn’t take my eyes off because it was like being back home.
As for the rest of our food, the Bandeja paisa was kind of small for the price and the milanesa de pollo was flavorless and dry. My milanesa took about 15 mins longer to come out vs the other dishes so I was eating while everyone was done eating. At check out the friendly cashier was about to charge me for 4 canned beverages when I had only purchased one. We also asked if my meal came with certain items and the waitress confirmed it did. however when we received my meal without the said item they said it was an extra fee for it. Another thing that was a bit of a shock was 2 waters with lemon were 10 dollars.

The walls were beautiful decorated bringing the rich culture of Columbia to Austin. They offered a wide variety of Colombia and Venezuela and snacks& the Arrizo con polio was absolutely phenomenal. The empanadas were very cheesy and the variety of beef (carne) or (y pollo) was great. There was a spicy Verde sauce for dipping that they provided in addition to 3 other sauces. The plantains were sweet and had a nice crispy crunch on them. I really really enjoyed this place it’s a hidden gem for Latin food. I will definitely be eating there more frequently and I can’t wait to try all the juices they offered this guava juice flavor which surpassed my expectations & my goodness it was so refreshing. Ask about the lunch specials I think it is Monday through Thursday from 12 to 3 and it’s like 899 for a meal… check this place out.
