My husband and I are visiting the area but I grew up in Virginia so we are familiar with the area. We were looking for a Peruvian chicken experience. We found a delicious diverse menu full of Peruvian specialties at a super affordable price!
The waitstaff are extremely friendly and helpful. On the day of our visit there was a young lady preparing fresh fruit cups in front of restaurant.
Our purchase was 2 orders of El Tipico, 1 loroco pupusa, 1 ayote pupusa, half of a roasted chicken (for the drive home) and a 16oz fresh pink guava juice as well as a sweet fruity cashew drink called Maranon. We also snagged a watermelon cup on our way out.
The restaurant wasn’t very busy so I hope more people will visit and keep them in business. Our entire purchase was less than $60 which is unheard of in Northern Virginia. Definitely worth the visit!

Disappointing. Lomo definitely does not taste what lomo should. El bistec was bland, no flavor whatsoever. I ordered it medium and it came out well done. The waitress however was friendly just the food was disappointing, not recommended.

Is 100 • degrees outside so I want something fresh and cold. They don’t even put ice on
Secund I pay 6 $ por a side of Beens ? Crazy right?
3 I ordered a pollo guisado – they take a grill chicken and put some tomate souse and bring it to me thinking that I am stupid ! I am paying g for pollo guisado no for trash !
4 the rice was crudo very hard to eat !
5 I ordered a appetizer that never comer first – they served with the food
And 6 all the food was cold ! ?
Come on ? Really. ? I don’t ask for more food and for money return I am asking f for respect to the costumers I spend 33 $ and this food I eat some but be more kind to people who spend they money on something they want to ! No on something doesn’t even cost money !

Food isn’t particularly good. Rice & beans had no flavor/very greasy, chicken tasted more like grease than anything else, plantains were burned on the outside and mushy on the inside, and yuca was bland and dry.

Seems to be a small local business. Most of the workers require don’t speak much English if at all. Spent almost $30 on this tiny dark quarter chicken. Skin was amazing, meat was juicy but not worth the amount I spent.
