My boyfriend took me here because I said I wanted tacos. Apparently he loves this place. I ordered the birria tacos and he got like some soup and rice thing. My food was okay overall. Our server was really nice. The atmosphere was cool too. We enjoyed our lil lunch date overall.

To my surprise, I was expecting something else but was this particular dish, Huevos Divorciados, or, divorce eggs as they call it, this dish was a great surprise to me seeing in San Antonio and Houston they make it totally different. This eggs were made Veracruz style. Delicious indeed. I strongly recommend this place.

We order frimSabor A Veracruz on Summit Ave in Jersey City Heights at least twice a month when not cooking. However, sometimes they close as early as 5 pm on Sundays. They do deliver, and it’s pretty fast. We get Nochos, cassadillas, or whatever we want at the time.
They have great food and it hot when delivered. However, the restaurant is very small so eating there can be very hard to do.

I’ve ordered delivery twice. Got the large guacamole and chips and the portion was great! Also got the quesadilla with steak, which had a great steak to cheese ratio and really tasty cheese inside. Also the side salsas are great! I would say the orange is spicier than the green, but both have a great flavor.

Sabor a Veracruz it’s the best Mexican restaurant on Hudson county area, food it’s delicious and always fresh, reasonable prices also fast and free delivery when you call the restaurant, amazing staff and owners also if you coming with friends that are not too familiar with Mexican food don’t worry their menu offers lots of choices like burgers, pasta, hot and cold sandwiches you name it…. my favorite choices are the steak tacos and Sopecitos!! You won’t be disappointed!!!
