A tiny little authentic Mexican restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. Food was outstanding! We had Queso, Guacamole, Chimichanga, and Menudo. Everything was delicious with generous portions.

Solid Mexican food at very affordable prices. The carnitas plate was much more satisfying once I asked for and added the creamy and very spicy jalapeño and habanero salsa. The neighborhood has seen better days, but it doesn’t affect the quality of the food or experience. Would come back again!

The food didn’t have a lot of flavor. It was mediocre at best. It’s surprising since the atmosphere seemed so authentic. However, if I lived in Rapid City, I would definitely give them another try. Need some spice in their meals. The young gal/cashier was absolutely a sweetheart and so helpful.

Sabor a Mexico is a small quaint little “hole in the wall” sort of place. I loved it. Enrique, our server, was so awesome. I had the Chimichanga, and it was delicious. I would totally go back here again. Prices were average for going out to dinner these days, and the portions left me full and satisfied. The tortilla chips and salsa were delicious but not complimentary as you find in many other Mexican restaurants. That was probably the only downside. Me encanta Sabor a Mexico.

This was really great food. Restaurant was cozy. Food was amazing. Waitress was very friendly. It was almost like being a welcome guest in someones home and they really dont want you to leave hungry. Prices were very reasonable. Really great grub. Will definitely be back.

I paid $14 for a side of beans n rice with Salsa because I asked for tomatillo salsa. I asked for green chili stew. Worst customer service no apology very expensive small serving of rice/beans with tortillas. Took 30 minutes. Not recommended at all.

We loved the food here. When we came it was very crowded hence the service was a little slow, but the one waitress was working her tail off. The loss of 1 star was because of the busy restaurant. Late on chips as they had to make more, no flan because they ran out. We would definitely eat here again hopefully when a youngster was not misbehaving and banging so hard on the booth back between us that I could not sit back.
