After the devastating Woolsey fire left this executive chef out of a job, they decided to take all their experience and make a go of it on their own. Thus, Sabor A Malibu was born. To much success, we might add. Sabor A Malibu is a food truck that’s serving a variety of street food favorites to tantalize your tastebuds. Start your day off right with a hearty breakfast burrito chock full of eggs, bacon, potato, cheese and avocado, and stop by again for lunch; Sabor A Malibu’s got a premium smoked tri-tip sandwich on a fresh baguette, not to mention everyone’s favorite bacon wrapped hot dog to sink your teeth into. Plus tacos and burritos of course.

I’m giving it a 3 for now, there were no more eggs to make a breakfast burrito. That’s a big bummer. But I will say, the Malibu Burger was really good. Comes with fries. I’ll update my review next time I come.

My standard taco stop in through Malibu now. Been here 3 times and have never had a bad taco. All the meats I have had have been tasty, and the salsas really completed them well; the green salsa was especially good, being both sweet and sour, it was pretty unique.
Looking out over the cliff while eating was pretty dope.

Awesome made-to-order Mexican food. Thank you for the care you give. But! Man it takes long…about 20 minutes for 4 small tacos. However! The burrito was OUTSTANDING! And the salsa/sauce was amazing. Cashier could be a bit friendlier but I understand how working in a food truck all day might get tiring. Stay positive! Your food is great 🙂

We love Mario! My family needed water while camping at Leo Carrillo but the store was closed. Mario parks there on Saturdays. He had closed up but gave me a liter of water for free! I tried to pay but he insisted. Haven’t had a chance to try the food YET. I’m sure it’s fabulous if I guy like that runs it.

Came on a super windy day- truck looked closed but they were open, thank god! Just closed due to super strong winds. Fish taco and shrimp burrito were fresh and hot!!! Also spotted a ton of dolphins. Overall a very positive experience.
