(Also the other customers having dinner in there were great – super friendly, and they told us they’d travelled from another city just to eat there. Plus there were a lot of people picking up orders to take home. Those two things are marks of a really great restaurant and truly fantastic pizza.)
You can’t go wrong if you come to Sabatinos!
When you walk up to the door, there’s a sign about keeping the door closed to keep the restaurant cool. Not an issue since it was 113 outside. Inside it was a cool 90! We couldn’t check in to our AIR BNB for another hour so decided to stay and eat. They had fans going which didn’t really help. I noticed a mini split that was off, figured it was broken otherwise why would it be off.
So tell me why this person in the pictures sits for her break, says to herself “I need to turn this on,” meaning the mini split and then sits to enjoy her food with cool air. Tell me why we sat for 40 minutes, sweating, for this person to come out and realize how hot it was turn on the cooler not for her patrons but for herself.
Obviously she didn’t care about us or her staff as they were visibly hot and flustered. I praise them because they still provided excellent service. Hopefully, they find management that takes care of them the same way.
I can’t see myself giving this place 1 star as the food/service was great. And I would eat here again, I’d just get it to go and eat in my car if I have to.
A great selection of “Pizza, Pasta, and Wings”only scratched the surface of what’s available here, but let’s just talk about what we ate for now.
“That’s the biggest pile of Pizza toppings I’ve ever seen!” said my wife when her personal Pizza was placed before her.
And my Italian Sub was really TWO sandwiches worth of goodness!
Everything was absolutely delicious!
I can’t wait to come back and try the “Luau Pizza” next time

Pizza was excellent. Nice crust, cooked to perfection. Sausage was really good and flavor was nice. A little touch of basil also.
Everyone ordered wings around us and they looked big and tasty. We will definitely try those next time.
Dining area is small, so come early or take out.
The restaurant made a deliberate decision to breach the contract and make it my burden. Not only did you make me work for free but now I’m accused of stealing food you refused to give me.
========= original post
I’m an Uber Eats driver. The restaurant allowed the customer to pick up their food (I was at the restaurant when the food got ready and they refused to give it to me). This goes against Uber Eats guidelines and wastes the driver’s fuel, time, money and energy. Employee tried to force me to cancel the order through the app without calling support which would either result in the customer being refunded for food they HAVE received, or it would only cancel the order on my end and would be sent to another drive to pick up the same order and waste their time also. I’m not going to call this a scam because I want to believe the best in people, but this is how a scam could go and the one who gets penalized for it is the driver. In the best scenario we just don’t get paid, in the worse scenario we are acused of stealing the food if the customer decides to report it not delivered and I’m the only driver assigned to it. Some basic respect would go a long way. When the customer and the restaurant decide to use a platform but then don’t want to pay the platform nor the driver who already invested time and fuel, something feels wrong. When I approached the employee (manager?) second time after *I called uber support and took care of the problem she created, trying to deascalate the situation and explain what this does on our end, I said “I didn’t want to waste your time” (again trying to apologize for something she caused is insane but I didn’t want any bad blood) to which she replied I already did waste her time and proceeded to be more rude. The restaurant made a mistake / bad decision, but called me rude, all while I was more polite than them despite the fact I was the one being screwed over. Just because I refuse to play games doesn’t mean I’m rude. I’m new to the area, this was my second time there. The first time I waited 50 minutes for an order and was literally lightening up the mood, joking around with the employees and other people waiting. Do better. I wasn’t in the wrong. I will delete this if the response clarifies this wasn’t an intentional scam and the restaurant will strive to abide by rules of the platform they choose to use and not disrespect driver’s time and money in this way. No hate.
The wings are super crispy and massive!
I get the wing sauce on the side because I like my wings super crispy and I just dip them when I get home.
