This isn’t a very big place, so you usually have to wait but the wait is well worth it. The lady who greets you was always very friendly I wish we could remember our server’s name because he is on top of everything. Both times we came here all the food was fantastic. The homemade kettle chips are probably without a doubt the best homemade kettle chips I’ve had at a restaurant. I have to get a bag to go every time. But more important than a potato chips is the carrot cake. I would consider myself a carrot cake snob and this place is probably in the top three. Looking forward to coming back.

Delicious food. Friendly staff and just a real nice overall atmosphere. French onion soup was also very good. I feel like it’s as good as Easy Street’s in BG if not better. Being able to chop the cheese with scissors ✂️ is a cool idea too.

French dip was great as well and not too salty. I got fries with it and they were also delicious. My wife ordered the perch sandwich and the only thing she had to say was that the tartar sauce had too much mayo in it. Otherwise very good and not too much breading. Coleslaw and fresh chips were good as well, just needed a dusting of salt for the chips.

Homemade carrot cake was outstanding and reminded me of mother’s when she use to cater back in the day for high end Cleveland restaurants.

I’d wholeheartedly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back to try the meatloaf.

We were excited to try SBA’s Uncommon, hoping for a fun twist on familiar dishes—but the experience was more frustrating than flavorful.

We ordered Ramsey’s Fish and Chips, which didn’t live up to the name. The fish was bland and lacked crispness, though the tartar sauce was surprisingly good. The U Wings were another miss—hot sauce was the only flavor, with no seasoning on the chicken itself.

The Grilled Chicken Sandwich on a black bean bun was decent. The chicken wasn’t dry, and the bun added a nice touch. The Steak Sandwich had good-quality meat, but it came out undercooked twice. The homemade steak sauce had an odd mix of peanuts and Thousand Island—creative, but not for everyone.

The biggest issue was the service. Our server brought us the wrong check twice. We were honest and pointed it out, only to be met with a final bill that was more than double what we actually owed. It was awkward and left a bad taste—literally and figuratively.

This place is really cool! I’m very glad they are around the corner from our house! We went for the first time, service was really, really good. Down to the hostess who was very greeting.
We got there right as they were getting their dinner rush. So some things were a little slower but we didn’t mind.
Nice local neighborhood restaurant/bar feel. I really like how the kitchen is incorporated into the dining room. It reminds of of Nick and jimmy’s but on a smaller scale
The cheese curds were so, so good!
The steak sandwich is good, you will the knife and fork lol and the salmon was very good as well.
We will be back!

It was truly a delightful experience! Upon arriving on a Wednesday evening, the place was hopping, and the bar was full. We were seated by the owner Tracy (Bruce was seen helping out anywhere he was needed), even though busy, took a moment to make us feel welcomed! The service was exceptional, as was the food. Everyone was very pleased with their meal. Pictures attached are the lovely owner Tracy, guacamole bites, smash burger, french dip, and the UC club. Every bite was heaven!! Oh…. and them homemade chips… they are yummy! You will not be disappointed! Nice to see a local owned business hopping on a Wednesday night…. just shows that the atmosphere, food, and service are worth checking out. We will be back!!

This place is close to where I’ve recently relocated, so decided to try it out. I generally sit at the bar and the bartender(s) are very attentive. So far, this is the food I’ve tried: The chips are homemade…delicious! The smashburger is ginormous and tasty-my husband and I split it and I’m a big eater. And this has be to the best French Onion soup I’ve ever had. It is baked and so flavorful! Just the right amount of cheese, bread and onions in this broth based soup. I took a pic of the soup, but didn’t think about it when we ordered the burger.

We came before a show at the Stranahan with our teen daughters. Our server was wonderful, super fast even though she was double sat at 5pm! The tater kegs were SO yummy, french dip was full of flavor, coconut shrimp with pina colada sauce, fish and chips were literally perfect! The lobster bisque had a good taste but zero lobster, so I would skip that next time. Looking forward to going to try more food soon super convenient location, once you know where it is!!

The burger was great but the drinks were not made consistently or correctly. The 1st was good and the 2nd wasn’t drinkable. At $12 each, you would think the bartender would be a better mixologist. My friend could barely drink her lemon drop. No lemon flavor at all. Only vodka. The cheese curds we very good as well. The staff very friendly. The drinks ki d of ruined the experience for us.

Been there twice. The food was delicious. They have fried green tomatoes which I love. Lots of choices. Went with a group and we all were happy.

I was very excited to try this place. Had a girls night out. Looked very clean, the bar tender/waitress was very nice. I ordered the beef tips and noodles. The beef tips were very tender and would have been delicious but the demi glace was not good at all ( at least not to me). The sauce overpowered the steak and noodles and because it did not taste good it ruined the dish. That’s the only reason why I have it 3 stars. I did order some shrimp that was never brought out but I was also not charged for it so that was a plus. But would have liked to try them. I will go again and try something different because of the friendly staff.
