The goat meat with spiced rice (bariis) and tender suqaar are perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, paired with fluffy sabaayad flatbread and that fiery green sauce. Don’t miss the aromatic spiced tea (shah)—it’s the perfect finish. Everything halal, fresh, generous portions, and super welcoming vibe. Best Somali spot around; already planning my next visit!

The food was very delicious but the cleanliness of the place was below par. I really want to go back but I even got dirty cups for tea…that had uncooked rice on the outside. The smell of the floor was … and flies. As Muslims, it is half our imaan to be clean and keep things clean. Also, they people working there, not consistent with costumer service. It’s like hailing a cab in New York. You gotta work to get attention to order. I wish they wrote down our orders…

The breakfast taste pretty good. Nice pancake. Makes you want to eat more. The side dish is pretty nice. Lamb with bomb also pretty nice. Fried chicken taste pretty interesting as well. Not bad for one that isn’t freshed fried. Enjoyed the meal in this small restaurant. Have to come back for some other dishes.

The restaurant is sorta dingy.
But damn the food is ! An aunty came out and took my order, went back into the kitchen and promptly forgot. She came back out and confirmed my order. Then threw down in the kitchen. The food was legit amazing!
You know the dingiest place have the best food. Run to this spot. We had the whole fish, and the goat and rice was the best for me.
I fed four people comfortably for under $70. You can’t beat that!

Visiting Seattle from Vancouver (April 2024), googled for a halal restaurant and this showed up, most likely due to FAKE reviews and ratings.
It’s a horrible rundown restaurant that is Very Very Dirty! Ceilings, Floors, Tables!!!

It’s surprising these people are operating a restaurant in Seattle, Washington. I’ve seen better Service and Standards travelling in 3rd world countries.
Also, it’s in a rundown neighborhood, So I would caution for personal safety.!!

Omg so good! Some of the best food I’ve had since moving to WA. Well worth the drive out from Seattle. Bonus that’s it’s halal so I can bring family here. There’s not really anywhere to sit inside, and it’s located in an interesting area.

The food was good. We ordered chicken n rice which was really delicious. The gyro sandwich was ok,nothing special. Ur every day kinda gyro. The fried chicken was also really good but I could tell they had re-fried it,the color,the texture was very apparent. Order online if u wanna try this place coz when I say this place is DIRTY LIKE HECKit. This is no place to have a nice dine out. Flies FLYING EVERYWHERE,tables were dirty, dont get me started on the state of the carpet. The only reason I stayed was coz of the reviews and they have a excellent status for the food safety standards(which i now think is just a scam if they gave this disgusting place “excellent”) I just didn’t wanna touch anything. If this is state of dinning area i dont wanna imagin what horrors are in the kitchen.The state of thr restaurant was a major turn off..the only freakign reason i stayed was coz they are run by muslims ladies(dont knwo what kind of muslims they are whrn it clearly states cleanliness is half of our faith) i would never eat here again,not even if it was free

From the pictures, I thought the food might tastes like Mexican food, but it’s totally different, it’s more refreshing and with a lot of spices flavor. Love the pancake . Met a friend customer from Somalia and recommended us what to order ❤️.

I could instantly tell this was old reheated food. It was complete mush. The meat also smelled and tasted really funny. Don’t spend your money here. Absolutely disgusting.
