We have been loyal to Saathi for 3 years and will never go anywhere else! We love it there, takeaway/ or dine in the staff are so kind and friendly, they go out of their way to look after us and we don’t care that they don’t serve alcohol anymore! You’re going for the delicious food! The chicken badami saag, lamb madras and the dansak are our favourites. Thank you Saathi we love you!

First time coming here and I the prawn starter which was really nice and tasty, my mom ordered a curry (forgot what it’s called) with garlic naan which was also good. Dishes were filling and ended with a coconut ice cream. Overall we paid about £37. The staff were nice and welcoming too

Never been before so thought we’d give it a go. Overall ok. Some dishes good, some average. Service was nice but (and it’s all a matter of personal preference) there are better in the area
Signs on the window today say that from the 1st March 2025 they will be serving only non alcoholic beer and wine.

Easily the best curry I’ve had in a long time , this place has won multiple awards including a Trip Advisor Excellence award. The reviews are not wrong, you have to try this place. Next time I’m passing through I’ll definitely be coming back. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. 10/10

This is our 2nd time here and we love it, the staff are friendly and always make sure we have what we need and are comfortable. The food is simply gorgeous, the best Indian food I’ve had by far. We come all the way from Essex to eat here.

The food here is really nice with loads of tasty dishes. The variety is also really good.
The service is a little absent from time to time even though the place is not that busy but they will get to you.

Three of us came in around 8 pm on a Friday without a booking, we were seated quickly with no fuss. There were three other tables, two of which were single diners. There’s only about 9 or 10 tables (estimating from a poor memory so it’s there or there abouts).
We all had a good meal with more then enough selection to choose from with all the usual options. We were given the obligatory chocolates at the end with the bill and offered a small postprandial drink.
Would have given a little more score in the atmosphere but one guy routinely watched something on his phone with the volume up – as he was a big lad and talking to himself a fair bit we obviously shut up and just ignored him.

I just ordered the prawn and vegetable biryani along with a paneer shashlik starter, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I had specifically requested the dishes to be made spicy, hoping for a burst of authentic Indian flavors, but what I received was far from it.
The prawn and vegetable biryani lacked the depth and richness typically associated with this dish. The spices were barely noticeable, leaving the overall flavor bland and uninspired. The paneer shashlik was equally underwhelming, with the paneer itself being somewhat rubbery and the seasoning failing to deliver the expected punch.
For those familiar with and craving authentic Indian cuisine, I would recommend giving this place a miss. The dishes I tried didn’t come close to capturing the vibrant and complex flavors that make Indian food so special. It’s disappointing, especially after requesting extra spice, to end up with food that falls so flat.

Food is ok, but they are quite frankly greedy. I have never known an Indian restaurant that gives you miniscule amounts of chutneys and then has the audacity to charge you extra for a refill. The whole experience is very similar.
