Tom Yum (Shrimp) and Pad Ka Prow (Chicken) and Drunken Noodles (Chicken) all get 5 stars. We’ve been missing our favorite Baltimore area Thai spots since moving up here… so glad we found this!!! We’ll be back. ♥️

The place is clean and open, nice place for a meal. The waitress was friendly and nice. She was attentive to her tables. We ordered the Satay Chicken as appetizers. Chicken was tender, not fry ar all. The Satay sauce was more sweet and sour than satay though. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef. The dish doesn’t look too appealing but it tasted good. The noodles were too soft so they were too broken up and the beef were killed three times over. My wife ordered the Pumpkin red curry with grilled chicken. The curry was good but the chicken was a little dry but still not bad at all. Portion was big and price was reasonable. I’d recommend it.

I can’t say enough good things about the food at Saap. This place has only been open two weeks and I’ve been twice already. As a family these are some of the things we have tried so far. Chef Lisa’s Famous drunken noodles have been my favorite thing thus far! If you like a nice spice then I definitely recommend. I want to try other things next so I’m going to have to force myself not to order it again. Despite what was mentioned, the old restaurant was not this good. Give this new restaurant a chance before bashing it, there are not enough southeast Asian places in the area so I’m hoping Saap is here to stay! If you have a sweet tooth definitely try the fried banana rolls with ice cream!

Update: We can not get enough of this place. Second visit and the food is still out of this world. They are also Vegetarian friendly.
The waitress Lynn was kind, friendly and patient. Super sweet person. My hat goes off to Chef Lisa. 3/9/2022
Hands-down one of the best Thai restaurants my family and I have been to—friendly staff and outstanding food. The chief uses fresh herbs and chilis, which enhances the flavors of the food. We will most definitely be back.

The newly installed bar gives this restaurant a really nice vibe. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a friendly face which is nice. I’ve been to many other restaurants and the first face you see isn’t always friendly or welcoming. Our server was very polite as well. My brother and I ordered the fried calamari and shrimp in a blanket as appetizers. They were both amazing but I must say the shrimp were heavenly. Great way to give a dish your own spin on it. I had the honey fried duck while my brother had some pad Thai. We really were impressed with all of food both quality and also quantity. Definitely will be back for more. Highly reccomended.

2.7 not good for dine in. Service wasn’t good, we didn’t receive cutlery OR plates until we asked AND the plates came dirty so we had to get them changed. Ambience wasn’t great either. Food was relatively good. We ordered the chicken drunken noodles (level 5) which were pretty good. We also ordered tofu yellow curry which was okay. Maybe this place is better for takeout, but we probably won’t be coming back.

For Now I’m only giving a 4 star based on the food I tried and I look forward to go back to see if that rating will change. I tried the honey Roasted ducks and it was good and just a bit too sweet. The Thai spicy fried rice I got with the duck was a bit sweet and very different from the regular Thai Spicy fried rice. I also Tried their calamari and it was good just that the tempura batter made it super breaded and there’s no variety as to getting the squid and some veggies to make it interesting, it’s very monotone and you can get tired eating the same flavor over and over. Their crispy wings with spicy sauce is not so very spicy and also the wings are tempura and does are not that flavorful unless you eat it with the sauce. I ordered the Thai Spicy fried rice with heat level 5 and that was really good and by far the best I’ve tasted so far, and was very interesting that it had some calamari as part of the sea food combo. In my next visit I look forward to try the soups and look forward to share my experience with you. And I did curb side order they almost forgot I was there if I did not call a second time. This review is just to share my experience so your experience may be different than mine because of your taste buds however I’m just sharing mine. I do look forward to go back to check out other items in their menu until I find what I like. Ohh I almost forgot the mango sticky rice is pretty good just a bit too sweet again but if you enjoy sweet dessert it’s definitely for you.

The Thai food here is very good. Quality ingredients, well made and nice heat. The Penang Curry was amazing and the Pad Thai was just out of this world. The spring rolls were ok, but the sauce is sweet. The service is fast and polite. Prices are just right for this quality food and service. We will definately return again and again!!

This is my favorite spot in New Castle County. This place is a hidden gem in a small shopping center. It looks humble, but the food is far from it. I have frequented this spot week, after week, after week. I have had noodles, rice, chicken, curry and a few things in between. My favorite is the pineapple rice with fried rice and chicken. I love the crispy egg rolls, and the Mango chicken stir fry is incredible (see pictures). I tried eating this dish Thursday, I wasn’t;t even hungry but nothing was left when I finished.
OK, so I mentioned the food, what about the people??? There is a lovely hostess who greets you with a smile as soon as you open the door. She will have menus ready, and if you need it, she will help recommend something new. The gentleman behind the bar is friendly and is ready to pour you a glass of anything. On this particular day he gave me a glass of a delicious IPA from Hanalei. He is always ready for small talk about the latest football game. Then there is the owner. I’ve met him a few times, he is friendly and kind every time. And of course, what about the people behind the kitchen! The true heroes of this establishment. YOU ALL ARE AMAZING! Great food is the staple of any restaurant, and they never fail to produce the best dish, every time.
Every time I drive up north from Sussex County I always pull in to this Thai restaurant. The food is amazing. So, if you are hungry give them a try.

Finally got to try this Lao Thai restaurant, the food tastes great. Some are a bit spicy, but overall great authentic flavors. Definitely will come back to try other dishes on the menu. Totally recommend it
