Absolutely the best pho I’ve ever had!!! The meat is still tender. It’s thick enough that you can actually enjoy it without feeling like it’s overcooked. Flavors are amazing and the portions are enormous. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. How lucky was I to find this hidden gem in the Tri-Cities♥️

First time eating here, and by far the best Lao-Thai food in the tri!!! Portions are big and prices are reasonable, we tried the drunken noodles (lvl 2 spicy) and pad Thai (lvl 4 spicy) and they were super flavorful and perfect spice levels. Will be back to try more!

To start off, I ordered spicy level 5 out of 5 and it’s was a 1 at most. My wife will usually take a small bite of my plate to try it and will immediately say how spicy it was but with this plate she said wasn’t spicy at all and she actually liked it and had another bite. The food portions were generous and the service was excellent.

Great place to eat. Family owned. I had the Pho and some spring rolls. My wife had the drunken noodle. Everything was great. Servers were friendly. We saw a lot of locals coming in to order different items on the menu. Seems like a popular place to eat and get takeout.

I had the garlic black pepper stir fry. It was delicious. A touch of sweet, a little heat, and garlicky. Large portion, will likely be my dinner too. Staff were all super friendly. Would definitely eat here again.

Authentic Flavors & Family Warmth – A Hidden Gem!

SAAP Lao-Thai Kitchen serves absolutely AMAZING and authentic Lao and Thai cuisine. I’ve now visited twice, and each time I’ve been blown away by both the food and the incredible hospitality.

On my first visit two weeks ago, I had the Spicy Fried Rice with pork, bell pepper, onion, and Thai chili—so savory, bold, and packed with flavor. I also got the Mango Sticky Rice, made fresh by the owner’s sweet mom. I took a few bites (it was so good), but I was completely full after the fried rice and had no space left—so I brought the rest all the way back to Kansas City so others could try it too!

That night, the brother was working and was incredibly friendly—he honestly felt like someone I’d known for years. His nephew also helped take my order and was so cheerful and helpful. The whole family vibe was warm and welcoming.

On my return visit this week, I tried the Drunken Noodles with pork, another one of the brother’s recommendations—and I inhaled it! So flavorful and satisfying. This time, the sister was working alongside their mom, and again, they made me feel completely at home.

The whole vibe is epic—great food, amazing people, and a true sense of community. They’re also very accommodating with dietary needs like gluten-free options.

I can’t wait to come back and try their pho and authentic Lao sausages next—I already know they’re going to be just as incredible.

Thank you for everything! If you’re looking for authentic Lao and Thai cuisine with a side of heartfelt hospitality, this is the place. I’ll be back every time I’m in town!

Came back to SAAP Lao-Thai Kitchen and it still hits every time! This visit I tried the Lao sausages, Lao beef jerky, and sticky rice—and everything was absolutely amazing. The flavors are bold, authentic, and unforgettable. The warm, family-run vibe makes every visit special. Can’t wait to come back for the pho next!

We tried the satay chicken appentizer, Lao jerky, mango sticky rice, orange chicken, pineapple chicken, and the seafood drunken noodles. Everything was so fresh and portions are big. The chicken was so moist and flavorful. Everything tasted so authentic and homemade. We really enjoyed everything we tried. The staff was so sweet! Highly recommend

The staff was friendly and amazing. The Pho has great flavor. We has fresh springs rolls with Peanut Sauce to die for, made by the family’s Grandmother. Noodle dish was also very good! Nothing but great things to say for SAAP!

I had dinner with a family member about a week after Saap opened their doors. The service was top notch, even with the restaurant busy. The Lao Coffee was delicious. I love spicy food and was not disappointed when I ordered a 4 star spicy Lao Papaya Salad and it had my mouth on fire for a while after. Crab Rangoons were VERY good, and both of us would order them again. Overall I think it’s a really good new addition to the Rd 68 area. Can’t wait to try more on the menu.
