SA Seafood on De Zavala is hands down one of our favorite spots in San Antonio! My wife absolutely loves their shrimp and crab boils — perfectly seasoned, packed with flavor, and always cooked just right. While seafood is her thing, I’m all about their chicken wings — honestly some of the best in town: crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The portions are generous, the service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is a little warm with all the Texas sun beaming into their front windows… but taking the delicious food to go fix’s that issue. My only complaint is the lack of fresh-brewed tea. Not everyone wants sugary tea from the dispenser. All in all, SA Seafood is a perfect spot for both seafood lovers and wing fans alike- but not tea fans!!

I had such a great experience at this seafood boil spot! Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. The seasoning was absolutely perfect not too salty, not too spicy, just the right balance. The seafood was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.
The portions were generous, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back again. If you’re craving a good seafood boil, this place is a must-try!

I got the single catfish filet with 3 shrimps, fries and drink. Everything was well made, food was hot, fries had great seasoning.
The shrimp could have been bigger but they were still tasty.
Overall, I recommend this place for lunch, its a place were you order, sit, eat and go.
Definitely coming back

I came around 7pm on the Saturday night, the restaurant busy as hell. The food was fire and seasoned all the way through, and we got really messy in the best way possible. Spice level was perfect, not too crazy but definitely had that kick. Had a lil conversation with Mike on the way to rest room super cool dude, made sure we were straight the whole time and kept everything coming out hot. I’ll be back for sure to get more messy with em crawfish

We stopped here while visiting friends and family. The place was very busy and we had four people in our party so it took some time to get our order. The food arrived hot and cooked to order for everyone in our party. The food was very delicious and full of flavor. The staff was very nice and took really good care of us while we waited on our order.
Overall, we had a great dinning experience.

Food is always hot and delicious. I usually get the catfish and shrimp with fries which are seasoned as a bonus. I’ve also switched out the fries for fried rice and wasn’t disappointed. You have to try their garlic dipping sauce. It’s amazing! The prices and portions are reasonable. The service is also great and the place is clean even on Fridays during Lent. I look forward to trying more of their menu in the future. Side note: If you have leftover fries, take them home and warm them up in the air fryer or oven and enjoy them with another dish or dip them in the garlic sauce.

Very delicious! Pleasant customer service. The wait time was a bit long, however getting fresh and hot food that’s delicious is always worth the wait. The po boys were excellent and the wings were flavorful. I will definitely try the seafood boil options next visit. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for years . I love their crawfish. They have changed so much with their crawfish . There was barely sauce in it, I drove 40mins and I am very disappointed with my crawfish . Crawfish always come with their homemade dipping so as well but not this time . They said is 1.50$ for somw sauce that supposed to come with it SMH.

I suppose I’m a regular now after going almost weekly for a couple years or so. I’ve always loved the Lo Mein for lunch although it isn’t always consistent. Sometimes, it’s arguably the best Lo Mein in the area and other times, not the best, but decent. Same with the fried rice dishes. I’ve always had great service and the food has always been served hot.
The place has had a lot of menu changes recently, offering more options outside of seafood, which is appreciated. I’ve yet to have a boil there, but I and others have had many other menu items and all have been tasty. One day, I’ll get a boil (I say every day I go and wind up not getting a boil).
I’d love a soup option with the lunch specials that isn’t egg drop soup and perhaps some expansion of the lunch menu for things like the new orange chicken (orange tofu has a special, but not any other proteins, it seems).
