Family-operated restaurant offering traditional Thai fare in a straightforward setting.

Amazing food and great service. Their curry had a lot of flavor and the chicken perfectly cooked. We also order the fry rice and it was equally delicious.
The atmosphere needs a lot of help and somebody needs to clean the restroom floors.
But for Thai food lovers, you need to try this place. You’ll thank me later.

This is THE Thai restaurant in Tucson. Fancy atmosphere? No. Convenient central location? No. Great, authentic food? Absolutely!
I used to work 5 minutes from here. For a period of three years, I ate here for lunch with coworkers *every work day.* Not just several times a week: five days a week. We worked through the entire menu. None of us are Thai.
It’s all good. If a restaurant isn’t fantastic, and just as good as home cooking, you aren’t going to eat there every day for years. Some of my coworkers had lived in Thailand, and they all swore the food was “just as good.”
This Thai restaurant is the Thai restaurant by which I grade all others. I haven’t had better, despite trying. Order the drunken noodle or any of the curry dishes “Thai spicy”, and you will get a fantastic meal.
I’ve had the “world’s #2 hamburger” at a food truck in Maui (according for Forbes magazine), authentic Cajun in Louisiana, and a bespoke meal by a French chef. And the food at this Thai place: it rates up there with best.

A few friends and I had dinner at this place and we were very satisfied with the food. We ordered 7 entrees to share with one another and among the entrees, the Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp impressed me the most because it taste really close to the ones I have had in Thailand. Food portion is decent and the price is fair.

My husband and I had always loved eating here since we moved here in 2021, but after today’s takeout experience, we really have to think about stopping here. As much as we love to support local businesses this has become really pricey even with the “lunch special.” It was doable for us before, but now it’s just outrageous and doesn’t even feel like there’s a special at all. Food really seemed skimped or less than when we usually go in person.. Lunch shouldn’t cost this much; at this point, we rather get full from panda and pay less.

Food was alright, though 22 bucks for lunch for one is excessive for the amount served. The waiter came by only to deliver food and I had to retrieve condiments off other tables. Normal strip mall eatery barely had any atmosphere above that.

Food was just OK. The service was very good. The atmosphere was blah and uninviting. It’s a family run business, which is great to see, but I wish the decor and food were better.

Today I ordered Pineapple Duck Curry with Extra Duck to go. I’ve had this dish probably at least 30 times in various Thai restaurants around the country. This one was good tasting and the rice was nice as well. All in for about $22.78 tax included. I would come back here again. The Food is good.

Best Thai food in ALL of AZ tucked away in a Rita Ranch strip mall. I am addicted to their hot and sour soup and their curry. Especially the red and green curries! The tofu spring rolls are so fresh.

This was our second time at Sa Ing and I’m telling you now that we will be back. It’s definitely worth the out of the way drive! They have some homemade hot sauces that they bring to you in a little caddy, along with chili flakes if that’s what you prefer. We sat in the same spot as last time and we giggled with our server about it, everyone there is very kind. The yellow curry was SPOT ON. We got the lunch special today which comes with an entree, egg roll, and hot and sour soup. A great deal for $13.50 (slightly more if your protein choice is Shrimp). My boyfriend got the Pad Se Ew and it was also great! Definitely recommend, and if you are a curry gal like me, do not hesitate to get any of the curries on the menu, their curry paste is delicious and you can taste the quality <3

First of all it take awhile before someone get us to seat, they are just two person attending to everyone, we wait our food for couple of minutes but I don’t mind, this Thai restaurant is good, the old guy serving us is nice and even the younger one. Understand that they just two and trying to accommodate all the customers.
Our food is amazing the Tom Kha bring back the memories when I visit in Thailand, the sweet, milky coconut and savory flavors we enjoyed it. My Tom Yum is sour, and a little kick on it perfect on cold weather.
We take out a chicken Pad Kra Tiem which is I ate on following day and still flavorful.
Plenty of parking, in website open till 7pm but restaurants open till 7:30pm.
