I’d say this restaurant is a hidden treasure in LA. It is family owned, not appealing from exterior or interior but that’s not the point. More importantly, their Shanghainese cuisine is one of the best in LA. The lady boss and her reception is always delightful. Chef is the owner so you can make sure he makes every dishes with cares. No MSG. A great place for family gathering.

Stopped in on a rainy day. It was perfect “comfort” home meal. The food was hot and steamy. We ordered kung pao chicken and pork ribs Shanghai Style. A hole in the wall hidden gem don’t hesitate to walk in. Yummy for my tummy.

Not fancy, just good home style Shanghainese cooking at reasonable prices. None of the dishes we ordered had any filler, just like how my family would make it at home. Yum!

Unbelievable, They are still using this type of disposable packaging, and there’s a burnt hole on it. I noticed it only after having had quite a bit of the meal. It was a terrible experience. The hygiene awareness at the restaurant is concerning. They only provided a basic refund, and there wasn’t even an apology.

Dishes looks ok, but not cooked perfectly. My issue is the braised pork in an urn, the pork was no where tender yet they served it. It’s better to tell me they are out.

A very few that are still left as a true authentic shanghanes style restaurant in southern california. The 2 are absolutely wonderful. What the place in a very depressed location? I wish the restaurant are in a better setting, but the food is the best
