Jovial neighborhood joint serving up Cajun/Southern flavors & a full bar with a kid-friendly patio.

We were just walking by and gave this place a shot based on the menu and the high ratings. I am so glad we did! Our servers were prompt and attentive throughout the entire meal, the menu itself is full of delicious options, built largely around their famous fried chicken. I really enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles and would highly recommend it. The waffles were cooked to perfection and were extremely soft. The chicken has a wonderful crispiness on the outside and the flavor in the breading is spot on. We also ordered a side of fries and I thought the portion size was reasonable for the price. The food paired really well with our visit to the icebox arcade nearby.

I heard this place to be one of Seattle’s underrated spots so had to come try out their menu for brunch.
Walking in and quickly greeted (I was the first customer of the day though). The owner Rodel came to explain the expansive menu with Southern/Creole, Guam, and Hawaii inspired flavors. The bar menu is awesome too with housemade brews (guessing kombucha).
We ordered their lumpia, southern combo, chicken & waffles, and gumbo loco. The fried chicken here is phenomenal even the breast piece was juicy. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and well cooked. Definitely want to come back to try the rest of the menu.
For dessert, we tried their tiramisu and seasonal bread pudding. Highly recommend getting both!
I’m curious how it is during the summer for their patio space.

Great service and outstanding food! My first time and I am mad that this had not happened earlier! The Gumbo is the best that I have ever had (piping hot), the fired chicken is as advertised, incredible, crazy juicy and flavorful! The slaw is even fantastic!

We ordered the gumbo, fried chicken and jambalaya and everything was really good! The chicken was super juicy inside and crispy on the outside. The bread pudding was also one of the best if not the best ones I’ve eaten. I really liked the ambiance of the restaurant as well, great music and really nice people. We’ll definitely be back!

If you haven’t been yet, stop reading this and just go. Your taste buds (and your soul) will thank you.
ST Hooligans has been ranked “Best Fried Chicken in the State” for five consecutive years, and it is clear why. Every bite was perfection: crispy, seasoned to the heavens, and clearly made by people who take their craft seriously.
But what really sealed the deal for me wasn’t just the menu, it was the atmosphere. Our server exuded a genuine kindness; it felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home. It’s one thing to have delicious food, but it’s the warmth of the staff that makes you want to become a regular.

First time at S/T Hooligans and it lived up to the hype! Best chicken I’ve had in Seattle. Randy, our server, was helpful with selection of our meals and was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back! Don’t skip out on the back patio either.

A bit fancier than what we had in New Orleans but very good gumbo. Fantastic bread with it. Also had a fried chicken burger which was amazing, great bun, not the usual overly oily brioche crap.

From the perfectly curated cocktail menu and diverse tap list, to the expansive and creative menu, you can’t go wrong! Perfectly executed dishes from start to finish. And the best part of our night, our server, Randy! Talk about above and beyond service. Randy made sure our night was a success and was so nice and polite, checking in on us and making sure we were having a great time! Thanks so much Randy and we appreciate you!

Wow. The hype is real!!! ST Hooligans is absolutely incredible- the food is next level. NEXT LEVEL. Also it’s ran by some really friendly people.
The menu has tons of options – so many you’ll need to come by a few times.
I did the SpiSeattle and got a side of mashed potatoes- so delicious. The flavors are incredible and the portions are very generous.
They have a great bar with wonderful cocktails too so don’t just focus on the food.
But the food. Oh my god. I can see why they won tons of awards – it’s just the best. It’s so good it resets the scale.
Come here. You’ll have the best meal of your life.

Amazing food in Seattle!! Chef/owner really knows what he’s doing with his flavor palette. Amazing southern food here in Seattle, easily top 5 restaurant for me here (transplant) the best staff ever, awesome indoor and outdoor space, PARKING!!! House made everything, get their margaritas and house brewed ginger beer. Everything we ate was divine.
