In a nutshell; Good ramen, great interior, and good service.

Feels almost semi fancy walking in with the interior designed like a fancy restaurant. Was seated rather quickly on a weekday after dinner rush. Staff was nice. Didn’t take too long to get my order. Ramen was great and a nice way to end a cold day. Overall pleasant experience all around. Nice place to spend a nice date at.

Ooooh, here’s a killer lineup!

Beef Curry
Rich, cozy, and full of umami. The beef should be tender and slow-stewed — bonus points if the curry has depth (not just spicy, but a little sweet and savory). Best paired with rice so you can soak up every drop.

Asahi Beer
Crisp, light, and refreshing — the perfect balance to cut through the richness of the curry and ramen. Clean finish. A total palate cleanser.

Gyoza
Pan-fried just right: crispy on one side, soft and juicy inside. A hint of garlic, a bit of pork fat, dipping sauce brings it to life. Excellent appetizer — or second dinner, let’s be honest.

Red Tonkotsu Ramen
Creamy, bold broth with a kick — red usually means it’s got chili oil or paste involved. Deep pork flavor, velvety texture, ideally with al dente noodles and a soft-boiled egg. This isn’t a timid ramen — it’s a statement ramen.

Very warm and welcoming. The staff is very nice. Tables/chairs are comfortable. It’s in a new area in West Roseville. The food is pretty good. Not as good as Koshi Ramen bar in Natomas or Fukumi in Folsom or some of the good ones in downtown Sac. But definitely a place we’ll be coming back to often especially since it’s so close to the Roseville Soccer Complex.

Ryujin Ramen House gets an A+ from me.

This was our first visit, and it made a strong impression right from the start. The décor is beyond amazing, truly stunning. The colors, textures, geometric shapes, and variety of materials are combined in a way that just works. If someone told you to design a space using circles, rectangles, and triangles made from metal, wood, and glass, it’s hard to imagine it coming together this well. Very impressive.

We were greeted immediately by a friendly staff member and seated without delay. The menu is well designed, with a reasonable number of ramen options and clear, helpful photos of each dish. The drink menu was solid, though I was a bit disappointed they didn’t offer a non-alcoholic beer.

We ordered the karaage chicken appetizer, along with Tantan ramen (with added cabbage) for me and the vegetarian Yasai ramen for my wife. The karaage arrived quickly and was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Our ramen followed a little too soon, which is really my only critique. Waiting another three to five minutes would have been ideal.

That said, the ramen was beautifully presented and served at the perfect temperature. The broth was hot without being boiling, which I really appreciated. My Tantan ramen was rich and flavorful, though I wanted a bit more heat, which was easily solved with some chili sauces. My wife’s ramen wasn’t quite as bold in flavor, but it was still very good.

Pricing felt fair, and the value was definitely there. Service throughout was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was spotless. We’ll absolutely be adding Ryujin Ramen House to our list of go-to spots.

I’ve been to the downtown Sacramento Ryujin many times and we were excited to try this new location, but everything except the environment felt off. The service was subpar. We were only approached by our server when we ordered food and brought food. Our waters were empty until we left after drinking the first glass. We tried to call over any or all of the servers and no one would acknowledge us or come check on us. We didn’t see our server for most of our meal. Even if he did go on break, no one else helped us.

We ordered the Karamiso ramen and the Miso ramen. Both we underwhelming honestly. The Karamiso came to the table boiling hot, but my Miso ramen was mostly lukewarm most of the bowl like it had been sitting there the whole time. It also tasted very watery. The downtown Sac location is very salted.

Overall, I wish there had been more service and better quality food. I hope this was just because it’s a newer location and the downtown location is more established.

excellent Japanese comfort food. My wife’s regular tonkotsu ramen featured a creamy, rich broth that was deeply satisfying and delicious. I went for the garlic tonkotsu with extra eggs, the bold garlic kick elevated the already flavorful pork broth, making it truly amazing and addictive.

We shared pork fried rice, karaage chicken, and chicken yakitori; all spot-on, flavorful, and wonderful. Great portions, cozy vibe, and solid execution overall. Highly recommend for ramen lovers. 5/5.

My husband and I really loved the Age Shumai, and the ramen was really good too! We had to include them in our hidden gems series near Sacramento. We’re limited to 30 seconds a video on here, so if you’d like to watch the full video, you can see it on our Instagram @the.foodienomads we get close ups of everything we ordered.

Place was great.
Nice ambiance and excellent service. The server checked up on us and all her other tables quite a bit which was nice.
Food was very tasty, not too salty which some places get wrong. Only thing negative about the food is that the toppings were a bit too cold. I wish they put it in the broth sooner so it could warm up.

The best Ramen I’ve ever tasted and the service was exceptional This establishment boasts a truly remarkable ramen experience. The broth was rich and flavorful, a testament to meticulous preparation. Noodles exhibited perfect texture, clinging to the broth beautifully. Each topping complemented the dish without overpowering the delicate balance of flavors. Combined with exceptional service, it was an unforgettable dining experience.

Hands down one of the worst curries I have eaten. The beef curry was so tasteless it was practically beef stew.

The red ramen was not spicy at all and had a very underwhelming taste.

Maybe I’ll try some other dishes next time but these two dishes were quite mid.
