We were starving on Friday morning after Christmas driving back from the airport in Baltimore and found this Local home cooking diner tucked back off of 29 near the Goodwill in Ruckersville. You need to look for the big signs to go behind the building that is punned for their location. It was a classic little community meeting space with the feel of the 70s and 80s. Clean, simple, cute country. Jam packets and little half & half containers on the table with the condiments.
Fabulous home fries, and crispy bacon perfect over easy eggs. They had some French toast specials with fresh fruit, which my son really enjoyed, with a choice of pattie or link sausages which is pretty rare these days. Our server was delightful and food pretty quick.

A little hard to find, but the food and service made it worth the stop. Food was fresh and well prepared with reasonable portions. Chili was tasty but disappointingly not spicy at all. Club sandwich was as expected. Fries were OK, a little undercooked and with lots of seasoning salt; I would have preferred more cooking and less seasoning. Bathroom was clean, dining room was OK. Furniture and fixtures are old, the vinyl on all the booth seats is split. Service was all on one server who did a fantastic job and never stopped going. Sign on the door welcomes guns into the facility which put me off; don’t really want to eat lunch surrounded by gun toters. I won’t be back.

The food was okay but the prices are a little high and average Mill is about $18 per person and you don’t get all the stuff you would at like IHOP or something. You do not get your meats and potatoes and eggs. In the service my girl was not on top of everything. She could not keep a cup of coffee filled and the weight was a little longer and she could have managed time a little bit better if she would have had somebody. Please come around and get some coffee but other than that she was nice

Rylie’s starts strong with this hearty, comforting plate. The BLT was grilled to perfection—crispy bacon, fresh tomato, and crunchy toast all balanced just right. The macaroni salad was creamy with a subtle tang, a great contrast to the salty bacon, and the ridged chips added the perfect crunch. Iced tea in a mason jar, with a lemon wedge on top, tied it all together. Chef James and scotty nailed the textures on this one.
Rylie’s Diner delivers consistently great meals with heart and flavor. James and Scotty bring experience, care, and old-school diner charm to every plate. Whether it’s breakfast or dinner, you’re in good hands.

We went to this diner because it was right off the main road. However I would recommend you go to Wendy’s or wait to find some place better. The waitress and owner were really nice but the food was not good. I’m sorry but the prices were a little high. Gas station breakfast would have been better. I think the chef either needs to try his/her food before they put it out or maybe just find a new field. The potato soup had the consistency of pudding. No flavor and the potato was not fully cooked. I’m not picky and neither were my friends but golly. I wouldn’t eat here again until there was a major improvement in quality. In the pics are biscuits and gravy then potato soup.

This was a very nice diner in Ruckersville Virginia. The hostess was very energetic. I ordered the vegetable omelette with side of hashbrowns and sourdough toast. I also ordered fried green tomatoes. The food is less expensive and taste is good. It was crowded and buzzing with the locals. Clearly it is a popular hangout spot for a hearty weekend brunch which does not make a dent in your pocket

Awesome place with great food and service. Came for breakfast on a Sunday around 10 and the place was hopping. Ashley did a phenomenal job handling everyone as she was the only waitress; she was running!
Food was fresh and tasty, great biscuits and gravy.
A little bit tucked away behind Wendy’s but a great place to find!
