Nice relaxing place! If you’re staying at the Marriott this is by far the best option. Has lots of drink options for those that indulge. I had the whiskey bbq wings and they maybe the best wings I have had in a long time. And coming from a wing guy that says a lot. The burger came as ordered. My waitress TiNasia was spot on and very welcoming. Can’t wait to eat here again!

Sat at the bar and ordered dinner shortly after opening at 5pm on a Monday. Staff was awesome, really attentive and friendly, going above and beyond.

Ordered the hot wings. The hot sauce on them was great but unfortunately the wings were completely dried out and hard to eat for that reason. The “baby carrots” were actually full sized carrots but they were tender and well cooked so no issue there, other than lack of seasoning to them. The chocolate torte was good.

I won’t write it off at this point, hopefully some of the other food is better. But like I said the bar staff was on top of it and great.

Ate here before a show because we were starving and had a pretty good experience. Our server did their best to accommodate our small time frame for dining. Great chicken wings, I’d recommend getting the NC hot and ask for extra sauce because it’s delicious and they need to put more on there. I’d also recommend the fries because you get a lot of food and they are LOADED. Wine was great as well.

The food was so good. I had dinner here 2 times for a conference and I had the salmon and steak and both were equally delicious! I also had to contact the restaurant to get an itemized receipt for one of my dinners and Edward, the restaurant manager promptly sent it to me via email. Excellent food and excellent customer service. Thank you Edward!!

I write this in a hopes that service improves and perhaps I come back.

That said, I’m extremely disappointed about the lack of service here within a Marriott property. I sat in the middle of the bar around 3:30 PM on a Friday. Around this time there were people at the bar but it wasn’t busy enough for the lack of service or communication from the two gentlemen at the bar. I sat down exactly at the same time as a couple of two did as well. The two got severed by one of the two bartenders. After they got served, the bartender made eye contact and walked away. In his defense, it looked like he stepped away to run food to a table.

The second bartender at the time eventually served another patron across the bar who arrived and sat down much later than myself. After the second bartender served the patron, he made eye contact with me and quickly just turned away.

Frustrated at this point, I assumed that maybe the two bartenders were working certain parts of the bar hence why the second bartender didn’t greet me or ask if I wanted anything. At the end, I don’t believe this to be true as the original bartender eventually came back to the bar and began talking with the second bartender. While they were talking, I made eye contact with the first bartender but he didn’t acknowledge me. At this point I just got up and left. This all happened with a span of 12 minutes.

All this said it’s difficult for me to give grace and play devils advocate. I’ve worked in the food service industry/hospitality industry and the lack of communication/service is not acceptable. Even if the bar was busy, at the absolute very least, the bartenders should have at least acknowledged that I was there and communicate they’d be with me in a moment.

I eventually walked somewhere else that was busier but got served right away. I’ve gone to establishments where food/service was delayed because it was busy, but as long as it’s communicated, I truly don’t have a care in the world because I get it. Very disappointed from my experience with Rye.

I just had lunch here and overall it was a good experience. Walked in and the hostess had a little attitude when I asked for a table near windows explaining she was seating us in the rotation! Ok but it was quiet and I prefer a nicer table near light. Done. We had chicken and dumplings along with the local green salad top with chicken. Both were very good. Cousin had the grilled cheese with fries. Lunch was very good and we really enjoyed it. This was really a 4.5 however.

It’s a “meh”. I guess it’s what you get for a hotel restaurant. The food was okay but, the 16 ounce bone-in steak was inedible and was promptly and voluntarily taken off of my bill. It was overly seasoned and exceptionally salty (and I love salt). I sat in an area where you can do bar food or dinner which isn’t something you should do if you want real deal dinner service. Staff were very polite but, management wouldn’t be bothered with helping out. An okay option but, better options are around.

The food is good. Our waiter was nice, however overall service is lacking. My dish was served to another table so my family was well past done before I received my dish and there was not a discount for the extreme delay.

There is a kids menu, however it is limited; grilled cheese or chicken nuggets. The website has not been updated in 3 years and they are not partnered with Open Table

The food is good, don’t get me wrong; but for the money – I’m looking for a bit more….

Food is amazing. Some of the best wings I’ve ever had and the pork was insanely tender and flavorful. Only issue is that the service wasn’t great but it was good enough. There were several open tables but we had to wait 10+ minutes for a specific table to open. Also we had breakfast here as well and it was tasty but maybe not worth the price.

Place is located in the hotel lobby of the Marriott. They must be understaffed as we stood there a bit before we were seated. Once seated, they gave us water right away but took a bit for someone to come take our order. Then after we ordered, they came back and told my youngest daughter that what she ordered was already out…and lunch menu they gave us had just started. Also took a long time to get my drink even though there was hardly anyone around the bar. We had Salmon Cake, Collard Greens (both kids said it was good), Cheddar Grits (my oldest daughter sent them back as she didn’t like them), Rye Wings, Shrimp and Crab Hush Puppies (amazing and recommended), Rye Burger (my youngest ordered this after her original order was out) and a couple Old Fashions and Margarita Platinum. Overall the chow was good, but the service does need lots of improvement for a place attached to a hotel.
