Ribeye were slightly overdone and not cooked evenly, seared on one side and not the other. Au gratin taters were dry and not flavorful. Wedge salad and appetizers were great. Best homemade ranch dressing!

I’ve been there twice now in the last 6 months so I feel comfortable writing a review. I found my go to steakhouse. Food was as good as I hoped. But I’m a whiskey snob. They had my favorite, Eagle Rare. Let me assure you, if they have Eagle Rare someone in the joint knows their product. I’ll be back often. The added value is Big Country right next door. That place alone holds a wealth of memories for anyone that came of age in north Louisiana. Met the owners of both establishments and I’m excited about having a place to enjoy food and beverage at its finest.

It’s hard to beat a delicious steak and au gratin potatoes. I got the house peppercorn ranch on my wedge salad and it was fantastic. Service was excellent as well. Shreveport/Bossier gourmands will recognize the “RW” in the name as Roger Wilbanks who owned the Cub Restaurant for many years. Food and service was fantastic, highly recommend and will forever be our go to steakhouse! Never had a steak taste as good like I did here and the cook was perfectly medium rare !! Also, the au gratin potatoes are to die for have been craving them since I last ate here.

My husband & I was on a weekend getaway & after 2 other steakhouses did not work out we found this GEM!! The best pork chops EVER!! The best homemade salad dressing EVER!! The best service EVER!! I can NOT say 1 bad thing about this place!! Already looking forward to our next trip & getting to eat here!! I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!

Ribeye steak very tender, great flavor, and juicy. Augratin potatoes very good.. Salad crisp, cold and fresh. Service impeccable and from Roger on down very friendly and hospitable service. These are the only dishes we tried but looking forward to other entrees and vegetables.

Quiet place, steak wasn’t bad, could have been a thicker Rib-eye. Drinks were over priced. Creme Brule wasn’t good at all. Service was great!
