The best Hungarian Mushroom soup. This homemade soup is worth the stop. Full of flavor, hats off to the chef. It seems like I can never get a good margarita or even order one from a bar these days, maybe a Mexican restaurant but their pre-made margaritas are just that pre-made nothing great. I got the best margarita from this place I’ve EVER had. Not too sweet not too sour the perfect mix of tequila, sour, and sweet.

Typical Minnesota bar. Usual beer signs, electronic “jukebox” on the wall. The server was by herself and did a great job. Very attentive. My wife and I split a 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger and crinkle cut fries. The burger was very juicy and cooked perfectly. One of the better burgers we’ve had in Bemidji. Fries were good as well. Overall, not bad. A little pricey for a burger but you get what you pay for. Worth a try if you’re nearby!

We all really enjoyed our meals, we each had something different. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with tater tots and it was delicious! The place is smaller inside than I thought and we sat at a high top table, chairs weren’t very comfortable. And it was freezing in there, had to keep my coat on and still cold, I just hate eating when I’m cold. We’ll have to try it again in warmer temps. Our server was awesome and very attentive. The decor seemed average bar decor with some TVs on. Prices were a bit high for town I thought.

Ruzy’s is an interesting bar. It has a high energy feeling to it, and most of the music they play isn’t bad. The interior looks great and they have a pool table, bean bag toss and darts. Being able to get great beer for $2.50 between 10pm and 12pm is really just fantastic. The food they have here is pretty good as well.

I have been to Ruzy’s 3 times now, eaten there twice. Some of the worst customer service I’ve seen. I sat at the bar each time, the young man who bartends has completely ignored me each time, he prefers to visit with the customers he knows. There were only 12 people in the bar, including the golf simulators. I watched him walk by me at least 5 times before he stopped and asked what I wanted. Then again, my empty beer sat there for quite a while before he bothered to ask if I wanted another. The food was ok, $15 for 8 smaller wings seemed steep. It took a long time for a slow night. The other two people across the bar from me struggled to get service too. We were the ONLY 3 people sitting at the bar. I feel that the bartender was new and could really use some customer service training. When the final bill came it did not match menu prices, looks like they add extra fees to each item for some reason, I didn’t wait to ask. After 3 times with bad service each time, I probably will find another bar to give my $$ to.

I was really excited to eat here based on the reviews, but unfortunately was kind of disappointed. When we got there last night it took a while for someone to come over to us and give us menus/ask for drinks. It was a little busy so we tried to be patient, but then finally once we got our food/drinks, the service was even slower, it took a while before someone checked in to see if we needed another drink while we were eating. We would have had a few more drinks with dinner if the waiter didn’t take so long, when we looked at the bar, those customers were getting their drinks as soon as they were running low. I will say the burgers are good and it’s a nice, clean place, the boneless wings were just OK. But unfortunately we may have caught them on a bad night, or they could have been understaffed which may not be their fault. Maybe once they are more established it will be better!

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Ordered burgers, fries, onion rings and a couple of beers each. The burgers were excellent and prepared to order. The buns were bakery fresh, fries and rings were great and the beer was cold! Our server was very helpful and appreciated his attentiveness! will be back soon!
