This is an awesome spot to stop by for bike rides looking for a fresh meal. We ordered turkey subs and they offer so many wonderful toppings. The subs were delicious. They also offer fresh fruits, $1 waters, ready made salads, and a bunch of local products. The staff was extremely pleasant. I highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat

Sensational deli and local farm store. Ruth’s has a fantastic selection of local meats, cheeses, produce, and dairy. Their service was fast, and the Deluxe Italian Hoagie is incredible!

After spending several years in the service industry in multiple parts of the country, I find myself enjoying some of my most memorable sandwiches from Ruth’s Market. Today it was the Bourdain’s Mortadella sandwich. Fried mortadella in perfect harmony with the Dijon and provolone and a brioche bun that struck me as reminiscent of a pretzel bun with its consistency. Apart from Ruth and her staff being genuinely delightful, they are providing a wonderful example of how small business is a cornerstone of creating community. Anyone interested in local, high quality meals and sundries should absolutely be shopping here!

Over the summer I went to Ruth’s Market for ice cream with my nephew. The service was great and the ice cream was delicious! And the shop itself is fresh, new, adorable, clean, stocked with delicious items, and trendy!
But what stood out most, was the kindness and care. We were there just before closing and I left my phone on the counter. My entire personal and work lives are on my phone and I was in a panic. I quickly sent a Facebook message to the shop and the owner responded instantly, confirming the phone was there. They had closed for the evening and their family was at a baseball game. I was losing my mind thinking I would have to wait until the next day to pick it up. I asked of there was any way they would be willing to swing by and leave it outside somewhere on their way home. They said they would and they did. Omigosh!! I was so grateful and incredibly relieved.
It is always amazing when local folks make the time to take care of local folks. It was appreciated beyond measure and I tell everybody how terrific they are!
Go get yourself some yummy local foods, including the delicious ice cream, and order one of their amazing charcuterie boards as well! They do a fabulous job!

This place made an amazing sandwich. I came in off the C&O trail, biking to DC, and a large sandwich was just what I needed. They didn’t have any veggie options, which was a bit disappointing, but beyond that it was great.
