Such outstanding food. Atmosphere was amazing and this is even a perfect place for going in bigger groups like 5,6 or even 7. Ruth’s Chris has the best. And I mean the absolute best calamari I have ever tasted. The type of sweet/spicy sauce on it made it even better (Dip the bread in it too!). Now, at this point, I forgot to take photos of the entrees and appetizers because of how good the food was. I got the 4oz Petite filets with shrimp and it was a very good steak to eat. On the service side, it was alright. Some mistakes were made like getting the wrong order. No biggie, but I think the waiters just need to communicate more. Multiple times we were asked to same question right after one server just asked us. Maybe one was just training. But they were on top of our drinks! Which is such a good aspect to have. And lastly. Oh, my lord. Just when you have had enough and you think you’re done. You make the stupid decision to get a desert. And it’s so worth it. I leave it at this….. Bread Pudding…. .

We had a wonderful dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in South Barrington and left very satisfied. I ordered the 11oz filet and my partner chose the bone-in New York strip, along with two sides of the garlic mashed potatoes. From the moment the steaks arrived, the experience felt special; the signature sizzling butter on the hot plates is always such a treat, and we both loved watching and hearing it arrive at the table.
My partner absolutely loved his steak and said it’s one of his favorite steak places overall, which says a lot. I especially loved the crust on my filet, beautifully seared and full of flavor. The garlic mashed potatoes were rich, smooth, and perfect for sharing, and the complimentary bread was warm and comforting.
For drinks, I enjoyed a glass of red wine, while my partner had the brown butter old fashioned, which he raved about, especially the cherry and dehydrated orange garnish. We finished the meal with the chocolate molten lava cake, which was decadent and the perfect ending.
Service was friendly and welcoming, though the pacing was a bit slow and we did find ourselves waiting more than expected. That said, everyone was kind and professional, and the food truly delivered. Overall, a classic steakhouse experience with excellent flavors and a memorable presentation, we’ll definitely be back!

Celebrating my birthday! You’re greeted upon arrival then taken to either a table or booth,we choose a table. Our server came, greeted us offering water or your preferred beverage, if alcohol a menu is given with different wines or you can chose from the dining menu. The server gave us time to select our food. From the dining menu we had the 16 oz and 8 ox steak cooked medium well, salad, butternut squash ( it was cubed) with a delicious sauce and baked potatoes( we shared one). I ordered the carrot cake to go but prior to she brought out a platter with Happy Birthday written, a candle and cheesecake which was delicious. Our server was very responsive,bringing paper napkins, filling our water glasses, checking to see how the meal was, and boxing up the leftovers all with a pleasant demeanor.
The restaurant was very clean, no debri observed throughout the areas walked. The ambiance was great. There staff and management greeted us throughout our dining. I was very pleased with the outcome.

We were attended to by Kevin who was attentive and helpful
We started with Ceasar salad and French onion soup both fresh and good for entrees we had the filet mignon I added lobster tail which was cooked perfectly the sides we chose were garlic mashed potatoes and sweet potatoe casserole the drinks we chose were delicious and strong
Pomegranate martini and Ruth’s old fashioned were
on point we drove all the way from Midway airport area and this classy restaurant did not disappoint
The manager also made sure we were completely satisfied
They deserve all their flowers

My daughter took me here for my birthday , as we love fine dining! Well, this place did not disappoint! The ambiance was beautiful, the service was impeccable (kudos April), and saving the absolute best for last, THE FOOD WAS TO DIE FOR!!!! We had the lobster tail, the lamb chops, stuffed chicken, alcoholic drinks, etc.

We had a private room that could seat up to 30 people. Drinks came out fast and the rib eye was excellent – maybe just a bit more butter than I personally preferred. My laptop connected to the projector and the TV simultaneously in the back with decent sound.

We came in with a party of five (three adults and two kids) and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Our server, Nancy, was absolutely phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything all night.
The kids can be picky eaters, but they loved their food with zero complaints. From the mac and cheese to the mashed potatoes, everything was a hit. The kids ordered the chicken from the kids menu and finished their plates, which says a lot.
The adults ordered steaks and lamb chops, and everything was cooked to perfection. Our waters were always full, the alcoholic drinks were really good, and the manager stopped by our table two or three times to check on us, which we really appreciated.

We were there for a special occasion, and the thoughtful touches made it even more special; our table was decorated with confetti, and they even gave us a handwritten card. I started with a blueberry mojito, which was so refreshing, followed by perfectly cooked lamb chops served on a sizzling plate. The crab cakes were a great way to start, and our group shared brussels sprouts and lobster mac & cheese, both of which were delicious. To top it all off, our server surprised us with a mini cheesecake for dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
From the food to the service, everything was flawless. This was easily the best restaurant experience I’ve had overall, and I can’t wait to come back!
