Ruth’s Chris offers valet service which was a great start to our night. We had reservations yet waited 15 minutes to be seated. After sitting at the table a coat check was offered. It seems that a restaurant should offer this upon arrival especially since coats are kept by the hostess desk. Drinks, salads, and appetizers came out timely and well spaced out. However, dinner was quite a wait. Server kept our drinks filled, although coffee refills was not offered. One person is a vegetarian, menu states options are available upon request. When asked, broccoli steak or a pasta dish with the mac and cheese base was offered. The pasta dish was ordered. The server came back and said they cannot make it- nothing else offered in its place or even reason on why. The broccoli steak was ordered. Before we could say anything else our server left. When he walked by we added Mac and cheese without lobster. Sever nodded and left. A restaurant of this caliber usually makes their company feel like they have options and our seen. That was not the vibe we received. But to be clear our server was not rude or unkind. Just felt like bare minimum was offered.
Food was good. Artichoke appetizer was very good. Broccoli steak and vegetable had good flavor. The Mac and cheese had a great flavor but was a bit dry. The steak was good but nothing special. It was cooked as requested. The shrimp was tough and not worth the $18 up charge. The mushrooms were excellent and I’d recommend this as a side. Overall, the restaurant was nice, food was alright.

My husband and I chose to celebrate our anniversary here, and we couldn’t be happier that we did. Our Server, Frankie, and the GM, Kasey, really rolled out the red carpet for us. Everything was delicious. I recommend trying the brown butter old fashioned before it disappears. Best cocktail I’ve ever had. We both had a filet and lobster tail which were so tasty. But I have to say that the French onion soup and creamed spinach were the also the best I’ve ever had. Neither the creme brulee nor the cheesecake disappointed. So creamy and flavorful. I can’t wait to eat here again.

Food was excellent and Michelle Lynn gave superb service. She was very knowledgeable about the menu with prompt suggestions for my daughter’s wine selection, sweet Moscato.

I absolutely love Ruth’s Chris Steak House. It’s share style side dishes which is great! I had a Ribeye and a side salad, my husband had Filet Mignon with French onion soup and our share side was scalloped potatoes. Everything was delicious.

The Columbus Downtown staff were absolutely wonderful. We were in town for business and meet up with so local colleagues. The food was amazing as usual and we splurged and shared a Tomahawk. The manager personally came out and cut the Tomahawk per our liking and it was great. Don’t forget to pace yourself and save room for the wonderful deserts! Thanks again to the management team as this location was a great experience from the host and all the supporting staff.

If we could give more stars we would…we had such a great time here. Our waiter Anthony made our visit wonderful. He was attentive and courteous and he surpassed the standard of above and beyond. Our food was cooked superbly, everything was tasty and plentiful. The manager Carli, was very nice and checked on us several times. We read previous reviews and were very hesitant to come here, but we are glad we visited despite the negative reviews. They also played good music in the background, that was not too loud. There’s a bar here and there are TVs to watch while eating. They have private sections for large parties as well. We will definitely be back based on the service we received today.

The service and atmosphere was great! Both my husband & I ordered the ribeye, that was extremely disappointing. Our steak was cooked how we asked; however, it wasn’t seasoned and seared well. There was no crust at all. Each steak I think was $68 but tasted like it was a poorly cooked $10 steak. In my opinion Longhorn’s steak is way superior. The mashed potatoes & creamed spinach was bland. Though cooked well the mashed potatoes had a weird taste that I can’t point out. The spicy shrimp and calamari was SUPERB! They were cooked and seasoned well and the sauce on both was delightfully delicious!!Again, the service and atmosphere was great. Just very disappointed with the steak and sides.

If you are going here you already know what to expect for prices and service so you just hope they hit the mark. Well hope no more because they nailed the expectations … other than the beverage selection. Weirdly enough they did not have Miller Lite or sweet tea. Regardless the food and service was literally perfect across the board. I actually arrived early not knowing the time they opened and the host opened early for me so I didn’t have to stand outside in the awful weather. Highly recommended.

First, our service was very good, our waitress was very kind and attentive. Salad was good and cold. Drinks were extremely watered down. Food arrived cold (even the steak), and was immediately taken back. Potatoes were not even warm. This was “fixed” and brought back. Steak was put back in, and potatoes still came out cold – almost like we got the same ones? The steak did end up coming out good but it was served on the same plate it originally came out on so it was full of grease/butter melted. Again, servers were attentive and did attempt to remedy the situation. The atmosphere is very bright, and loud. It is not intimate and tables are very closely placed together. We got sat at a table where one side was a booth and there was a crack where the two booths connect – very uncomfortable. I’m disappointed in the experience altogether especially for the prices.

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day. Our waitress was very good. She knew everything on the menu well and helped us choose between a few things. The appetizers the drinks and the desert was very good and worth the price. However, the entree’s an 8oz filet and 16oz New York strip were way below par. Their whole thing is USDA prime beef but it honestly didn’t blow me away. It was burnt on the top and not very juicy. Mind you we both had our steaks cooked med rare. I would say the New York came out more medium, filet was more med rare. Anyway they were just lacking flavor and honestly I have had a better New York strip at Texas Roadhouse. The price for the steaks was not worth it for what we got. Everything else was really good. But if you’re looking for a steakhouse for a good steak, don’t go here. The price is not worth it, I would’ve been much more satisfied elsewhere and probably saved some money. Service was great though.
