What an amazing service and food! My husband and I went to Ruth’s on our first night in the town. I am not going to focus on food. We were expecting a perfect steak and this place delivered!!! What really made our night special was chatting with our server. His name is Joe Rama. And besides giving a great service he told us a lot about the town, culture and his experience. Thank you!! We will be coming back! Definitely I recommend!!!

Ruth’s Chris delivered an exceptional Bourbon vs. Rye Cigar Dinner last night. The group was seated on the terrace in what they described as the Garden Room. Despite a rainy 40 degree evening, the space was comfortably warm with the retractable wall panels positioned perfectly so the room felt open yet never smoky.
The evening began with an introduction of the hosts and a clear outline of the itinerary. Cigars were lit, cocktails were poured, appetizers hit the tables, and the experience moved seamlessly from there. Each pairing was thoughtfully curated and every presentation felt intentional. The balance between bourbon and rye selections alongside the cigar profiles was executed at a high level.
From start to finish, the event was polished and well managed. I would highly recommend reserving one of their upcoming experiences. Reservations can be made through OpenTable under the Experiences tab for Ruth’s Chris.

This was my birthday dinner from my amazing husband. Chris and Joe were our servers and were absolutely phenomenal! The food was (oh my goodness) the best we’ve ever had! We started with the BBQ shrimp for an appetizer. The main entrée for myself was the baked stuffed chicken breast and a T-bone steak for my husband. We shared the sides of Zucchini fries and bacon-honey Brussel sprouts. Then for dessert it was the chocolate sin cake. Y’all these were top of the line choices cooked to perfection and served by the finest servers! If I could give more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat!

Hands down the best experience I’ve had at any restaurant in North Carolina. I love to try and find local known steak houses to eat at. Some can be hit or miss. Ruth’s Chris across the board no matter what location you go to is gonna give you hands down service, food, and atmosphere. I’d consider Ruth’s Chris to be the Ritz Carlton of steak houses. Look forward to going again whether here in my home town of Wilmington NC, or it being in one of their 21 countries across the globe. Thank you for being exceptionally amazing.

My wife and I went here for her birthday. They had a 3-course filet special that we both ordered. 1st course, steak, sides, and dessert were all perfect. The entire staff was exceptionally polite. Our server, Christian, was as courteous and attentive as any I’ve ever experienced. Spoke with 2 assistant managers at the end of our meal. Thanked us for dining with them and encouraged us to return soon – and we will !

From the moment we walked in, everything was impeccable — the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the genuine care shown by the staff. Our server, Riley, was absolutely outstanding. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and warm personality elevated the entire evening. She anticipated every need and made us feel truly celebrated, not just served.
A very special thank-you also goes to Assistant Manager Katie, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her leadership and hospitality were evident, and she made the night feel personal and memorable.
This was my first time ever dining at Ruth’s Chris, and because of the incredible experience at this Wilmington location, it will absolutely not be my last. The food was exceptional, the service was world-class, and the overall experience exceeded every expectation.
To the General Manager and the entire team — you’ve created something truly special here. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable.

Service and food are amazing. My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day. They were giving out roses when seating you which was such a sweet touch. My filet was so tender and delicious. Our server Michael was top notch, answered all of our questions, was funny, and very personable. You pay for an experience here, not just the food. Will definitely be back!

Went there for my birthday about a month ago everything was outstanding from being greeted at the door to the food, service and atmosphere. Thank you Shelly for kicking off a wonderful night. I’ve been to fine dining restaurants around the world and you are right up there in my top ten experiences. Keep up the amazing job you do bravo to Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Wilmington NC. Update we went back on 2,14,26 sat at the bar around 2:30 pm great view, beautiful bar and Brandon was fantastic and a master at his craft. Food, presentation, temperature, cocktails were fantastic. Thanks for making our day special.
