We had the calamari as an app. Different from the usual and very delicious! I’m glad our waiter Rob recommended it to us. We celebrated our engagement and Rob gave us a nice gift ☺️. Thank you. I am so happy with Robs service as well as Jasmine making sure that our meal was to our liking. Everything was great. Bathrooms are clean too. Staff were pleasant (even those that didn’t serve us). And the cheesecake I recommend and will come again.

My mom and I came to Ruth’s Chris tonight for a Christmas Eve dinner, and it was the perfect way to end the year. From start to finish, everything was excellent — the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service.
Our server, Sofia, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, professional, warm, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. She explained the menu well, checked on us at just the right times, and made the entire experience feel special without being rushed — which is exactly what you want on a holiday night.
The steaks were cooked perfectly, the sides were delicious, and the overall vibe was classy and celebratory. This was a memorable dining experience, and Sofia truly elevated the night for us.
We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner!

The experience at Ruth’s Chris is usually the same every time you go. Good service, good food, solid atmosphere. It’s a nice night out. The food was a bit under cooked for well-done as requested (don’t judge), but the server was super friendly. Mistakes happen, and I’ve had great steaks here before but this is my most recent visit.

Rashad exemplified true professionalism from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely kind. His guidance with drinks and menu selections was spot-on, and each course arrived perfectly paced. The appetizers, entrees and cheesecake dessert were all delicious, and the steak was perfectly cooked. Rashad’s attention to detail and courteous demeanor elevated the entire dining experience. My son chose to have his birthday dinner at this steakhouse and they did not disappoint. He had a great time from the moment we walked in. They acknowledged his birthday and found little opportunities to make him feel special. The food was great. We all enjoyed it. we were a party of six At the table with my grandson, been quite a steak guy the last year or so ha ha. Not only the other steaks delicious but they have wonderful taste for sides. Excellent service and delicious food! We’ve been at Ruth’s Chris before but this is our first time at the Melville location and it exceeded our expectations. We loved the atmosphere and elegant decor! We got the cowboy ribeye and it was delivered on a sizzling 500 degree plate that kept the steak hot while we ate it. Saad was our server and he was awesome! Saad welcomed us at the table with complimentary champagne for our anniversary which was a classy touch. He was friendly, polite and respectful. He was on point with delivering the details of the menu and giving his recommendations. We will definitely be dining there again!! Keep up the excellent service!!

Took my close friend to this location to celebrate her birthday. It was fabulous and didn’t disappoint. We had the tomahawk and a lobster tail cooked to perfection! Rob was our host and the service provided was impeccable. He was attentive and kind. Will definitely return.

It was our anniversary and Ruth’s Chris did EVERYTHING to make it the most special night… From the rose pedals on the table, to the personalized menu that said “Happy Anniversary”.. it was certainly an experience I’ll never forget. Olivia was our waitresses… She was the best!! Was attentive, didn’t hover.. didn’t upsell anything, made amazing recommendations.. like the goat cheese dip! HOLY HELL, you NEED to order it (my only complaint was that it wasn’t served with enough toasts to finish the dip, we had to order more if we wanted). Steaks and sides were DELICIOUS! Great portions.. a little pricey for the ambiance (some people were dressed like they were going to Chilis) but delicious nonetheless.
At the end she brought us a complementary champagne to celebrate our nuptials… Bravo RC, you will certainly see us again.
