My husband made reservations for Valentine’s Day. It was our first time at Ruth’s Chris. I don’t know if maybe we’re just bougie people when it comes to steaks since we go to a lot of steak houses but we were not so impressed with the steak. The lobster was pretty good! The lobster Mac and cheese was good also. The chocolate lava cake was yummy. But honestly for the price we were expecting a lot more.

This place is phenomenal! From the service, to the food. It was delicious, top notch service, top quality food! Our server Jill was just a sweet little lady. She kept the vibe going, telling us her suggestions as first time guests. Including the lady manager, not sure of her name but she always checked in asking how everything was.

Me and my Husband came from my
40th Birthday and the experience and food and service was amazing. The hostess I don’t remember her name but she wore red glasses set the tone she made us feel very welcome and comfortable. I love her kindness and she was so genuine and sweet. Our waitress Alaina she was exceptional from the time we sat down. The food was amazing. My husband the 40oz steak and he loved it.The steak was nice and tender and juicy the side dishes was also amazing.My overall experience was amazing for it to be my first time at the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend

Judy our waitress is the epitome of great customer service. She is the bar by which I’ll judge all waitstaff from now on. We went in for the Happy Hour and Judy made sure we were absolutely happy with all of choices, offering suggestions as if she herself made the food. She even suggested a mocktail for our underage party member that was so delicious that the rest of the party decided to order the same. Food, incredible, calamari perfection, crispy and not overdone, shrimp had just the right amount of heat. My burger had a fantastic char, fries crispy. The others at my table had steak skewer salad, which came with tender pieces of sirloin on 2 skewers and another skewer of grilled mushrooms. Greens were perfectly dressed, fresh and vibrant. The other party members enjoyed steak sandwiches which they claimed were the best they ever had. We couldn’t leave without trying dessert and boy did we! A dense flour less chocolate cake came with a raspberry sauce, a delightful cheesecake and literally the world’s best carrot cake. (not even kidding, I ordered a whole cake for pick up in a couple of weeks as this is the only Ruth Chris Steakhouse that makes it. I live almost 2 hours away and YES it’s worth it) I will definitely be back any time I am in Atlantic City.

Let me just say first and for most, I knew coming to Ruth’s Chris would be a little on the pricey side, but since my boyfriends never been and it’s his birthday I figured what the heck! He decided to get the Ruth’s 3 course meal for $55 (while I’m ordering his food, I state I’ll have the additional entree 11oz filet). (keep in mind. He ordered an extra side of broccoli and 3 shrimp for his meal. The food comes, his steak is how he likes it, mine is actually burnt because I mistakenly ordered it too well (my fault) at this point I feel kinda foolish because I know better than to order a steak too well done. (They brought me out another steak, which I can’t thank them enough for) The night goes on, we receive the bill. It’s more than I expected so my boyfriend of course pays the bill and doesn’t care really how much it is. So we get up and I storm out because I’m kinda annoyed with the situation. So I leave the restaurant wondering why the bill came out so high…. Jamie the manager sends me my bill, and then explains to me that my entree wasn’t an additional entree for $19…. (Mind you, if I wanted an 11oz for $64 then why not just order myself as well the Ruth’s Chris 3 course meal for $55!!!!) So after she explains to me that the wording doesn’t mean what I thought it meant, it means basically it’s a SUBSTITUTION entree not an ADDITIONAL entree (EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS ADDITIONAL) I’m completely over it. The service was good, but this was just an off night and I wish that it never happened. Better luck next year for his birthday, would I return? No, but thanks for explaining everything to me after the fact Jamie.
I did end up doubling back to edit my review and take stars away for the service because I also feel the server (her name who I don’t remember) did not explain anything on the menu. If I had known, I wouldn’t have ordered just a single steak for $64, I would’ve gotten the $55 3 course meal like my boyfriend so I could clearly get the better deal.

This was our first time dining at Ruth Chris Steak House. We had 5:30pm reservations on a Saturday (which we made that day), yet we arrived at 5pm and we were immediately seated in the dining room. Our waitress was very energetic, courteous, and professional (I believe her name was Lina, but I could be wrong). Our waitress made recommendations on the appetizers and entrées which we used when making our selections.
We started with ordering drinks. A Tropical Sunrise mocktail for my husband (the designated driver) and a Blueberry Lavender Fizz mocktail for my 19-year-old son. Both liked their selections. I started with a Tilted Pineapple Martini which I couldn’t even taste any alcohol. It tasted great. The bread we were served was really good. I liked the warm cranberry walnut bread.
For appetizers we went with the Mushrooms Stuffed with Crab Meat (my favorite) and the Veal Osso Buco Ravioli. For our main course, I ordered the Maryland-style Crab Cakes with Fresh Broccoli. My husband had the Bone-in Filet medium topped with Garlic Crust and a side of Sweet Potato Casserole. My son had the Spicy Salmon with Crispy Shrimp and a side of French fries. I also had a Strawberry Margarita with the main course.
Everything was delicious! I can’t criticize any of the food or beverages that came to our table. My only regret is that we couldn’t order dessert because all 3 of us were so stuffed! So we will definitely be back to try some items off that awesome dessert menu!
Our bill total came to $382. We left a 33% tip because the service was that wonderful. Our server earned every dollar.

The lamb chops were literally the best I’ve ever had in my life!!! Hands down made to perfection the crab cakes are full of crabmeat, the server was amazing and helpful. I went back AGAIN the next day!!

The first thing that I can say is our waiter was beyond one of the best waiters we have ever Har! HE went above and beyond so nice explaining every question…food was fantastic the best butterflied pork chop I’ve ever had best garlic mashed potatoes…salad was unbelievable it was a fixed menu…I can say the tiny tart cheese cake was the only flop…so small not the taste I was hoping for…will come again to try a tomahawk??? When ??? I don’t know but can’t wait to come back…
