I’ve been to many shawarma and mediterranean and Middle Eastern places so I feel like I know what I’m going into. I really trusted the reviews when ordering and I now have more trust issues. Whoever says the chicken and rice is soo good needs to stop eating McDonald’s. I feel bad you live in this bubble thinking this is the best there is. The chicken is similar to imitation crab, yet somehow even though it looks like it’s dusted in red dye 40 it lacks any real flavour. I should have just brought my spice rack so I can add back in the flavour missing. Of course the white sauce is watery and he slaps sriracha on it. Really. Sriracha. On chicken on the rocks. The vegetables were the only saving grace. I believe this man has been banished from the Mediterranean for his cooking. Perhaps I will try his breakfast as it’s very hard to mess that up, I’d also not end up wasting $9 on oily rice and sad chicken. I’m glad the chicken was prayed over when he died so he would not have to be stuck with the fact he was wasted on this dish

This food cart got me through college. This was my favorite place to eat on campus! Everything I’ve had was delicious and well priced.
Also, I swear it’s not as bad as Mida’s review says it is. In my opinion, it’s not bad at all. But good for him for being passionate about his chicken!

Food is decent. The only downside is that the truck has very inconsistent hours and days. Seems like the owner picks and chooses when he wants to show up. Food also takes an incredibly long time so be prepared to wait 20-25 min even with a short line of 3 or 4.

The owner gave us the wrong meal that we paid for . He is nonchalant about his service quality and the other employeesdisplayed inexperience because I ordered coffee and instead of extra sugar was salt coffee. Lastly coffee is rarely even served early during opening because it takes forever to be made. Otherwise the food itself and owner are actually good tasting and good people. Tighten up is all

You get a lot of food for the price, if you’re going to Rutgers and are tired of the campus center or 7/11 stop here and you won’t be dissapointed
