I had a really great time here. As an Indigenous Mexican from Oaxaca, I was excited to try this restaurant’s food, and I was genuinely impressed with the mole, it tasted authentic. That said, if you’re looking for truly traditional Mexican dishes, this isn’t quite it; the menu leans more toward fusion. Still, everything was very good.
I’ll admit it was a bit silly of me to assume the employees would be from Oaxaca — they weren’t. But overall, the experience was beautiful. The outdoor ambiance was so relaxing, and I really enjoyed my visit.

It’s a really nice spot for regional Mexican cuisine in Brooklyn! The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The empanadas were spectacular, infused with the flavors of salsa verde, vegetables, and queso chihuahua! I would 100% recommend dining here and bringing friends/family! I would definitely come back here.

I’m surprised this place wasn’t packed when I came in. The decor was so nice especially their spacious backyard section. Service was great—our waitress Abby was amazing. And the food was absolutely delicious! Honestly, the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The beef short rib was my favorite item. It’s truly high quality with many options. It’s not some cheap low quality taco spot. This is real Mexican cuisine. It’s one of my favorite restaurants now and I can’t wait to return. Mind you, I’m picky and a foodie so this means a lot. Please support this restaurant y’all!

If you’re in the mood for some delicious tacos, this place is a must-visit on Taco Tuesday! Their specials are fantastic, and you might think that happy hour means settling for lesser quality food, but that’s definitely not the case here. The chips were crispy and flavorful, and the tacos were fresh and absolutely tasty. They are super affordable.
The only downside was the service, which was a bit slow, especially since there was only one other table occupied. However, the vibrant decor and upbeat atmosphere more than made up for it. Overall, it’s a great spot to enjoy some yummy food with friends, and I can’t wait to go back!

The Happy Hour margaritas were amazing, then they were followed up by the delicious chicken, steak and shrimp tacos! Definitely have to go back. The waiter was very attentive and helpful.

Lovely authentic Oaxacan restaurant in the neighborhood serving beautifully-plated dishes. The mole here is so good, and I was especially surprised to see they had pulque (wasn’t on the menu).

I wish I would’ve known about this place a lot sooner. Food was so tasty and well seasoned. I had the birria and al pastor tacos, and the cheese with chorizo appetizer. The ambience was fun and lively, but not loud. It also had a nice bar atmosphere. This is the type of place where you want to have a good meal, and be around people. Will definitely come back.

Went for the first time with my husband and we absolutely loved it. They don’t have their liquor license yet but we got a regular and strawberry lemonade that tasted so fresh and perfect for the summertime heat. They started off giving complimentary tortilla chips. We order the taco Tuesday deal (3 for $14) which you could mix and match. They tasted so flavorful and very filling. For dessert we got churros that came with this coffee sauce that was surprisingly very delicious. Everything was perfect right when we stepped inside. Great customer service, clean, and of course food tasted 1000/10. Can’t wait to try other stuff
