Pepperoni & chorizo pizza with their ranch is always a hit. IMO, Rusty’s has the best pizza parlor salad bar. Cheesecake factory cheesecake without having to commute through traffic south of Santa Barbara is the icing on the cake.

The pizza here is great, but the customer service is seriously lacking on the part of management. I placed an order over the phone (it’s now all digital voice apparently no human answering) my order was for a large half pepperoni half cheese pizza. I had a coupon for a large 1-item pizza for $20.25, the order total was $25.56 before the coupon. I get to the register and they say the coupon isn’t working, the manager lady comes and tells me yeah it’s not accepting the coupon because you have half cheese and half pepperoni not all pepperoni. I asked so I am getting charged more for requesting less pepperoni and she said yes. However the coupon states 1-item, I only got 1-item on the pizza, pepperoni. I didn’t ask for extra cheese. I’m sure there was a way for her to edit the pizza in the computer to say pepperoni only to accept the coupon, but that didn’t happen. The male cashier apologized and gave me a couple of free containers for ranch which are normally like .65 cents each, but come on Rusty’s you can do better than this. Is $5 the end of the world? No, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth on the inability to make the customer happy on the fly. I wasn’t asking for anything extra, but actually less. Maybe it was an issue with the all digital ordering and not being able to talk to a human, who knows.

Mexican lady at the front was not friendly felt like she was rushing me or didnt want to attend at all!! I asked how big are the sizes and all she did was point up with a rude attitude. I was going to order more but not with that attitude!!

This pizza place has been around for a long time and that’s for a good reason, they have excellent pizza. Having catted. Nothing but excellent customer service.

So after having a quite day at the pool in our hotel. We decided we wanted something quick and easy for food. We googled places to eat not far away. Rusty’s came up. The food was good but the place is lacking atmosphere. I would eat there again but I think we would have a takeaway next time. Maybe a little background music would make it feel more welcoming.

Always get exact same thing for delivery, Canadian bacon sub & salad. Usually order extra Italian dressing. Last week ordered extra a side of egg for the salad which didn’t come eith the order, rather extra dressing. Tonight ordered same items and told them egg on the side but i needed to not be charged because of previous order being incorrect. Manager said they couldn’t do it so for all intents and purposes they chose to lose approx $30 over. 99 cents. Good business strategy. And driver always get very good tip !?!?!?

Can’t understand anything you tell them I ordered meatballs sub probably the worst sandwich I ever had when you order meatball sub you thing you’ll get more then one meatball cutt up into 5 pieces to make an sandwich its all bread will not be back
