I recently tried the Honey Hot wings here, and honestly, they were AMAZING! The sauce was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, and the wings themselves were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—just how they should be. I also got a basket of fries, and let me tell you, they were *SO* good. Well-seasoned and crispy, they made the perfect side to balance out the wings.
My boyfriend ordered a few other things, and he couldn’t stop raving about how great everything tasted! We were seriously impressed by the quality of the food—everything was on point.
That said, there was a bit of confusion when it came to reservations. When we called ahead to ask about booking a table, we were told they weren’t accepting reservations and it was first-come, first-served. But when we got there, every empty table had a reservation sign on it. It was a little weird, especially since it was a busy day with a lot of people there for the basketball game. I’m not sure if there’s some sort of insider thing happening or if we just got some bad info over the phone.
Overall, though, the food was so good that I’d definitely go back, even with the little reservation mix-up.
However, what confuses me is why they offer a downloadable menu if you can’t actually place an order over the phone. I’ve tried calling at least fifteen different times on separate occasions (sometimes multiple times during one attempt), but no one ever answers.
As a business owner myself, I understand that every company has its own priorities, and maybe they’re already doing well enough that they don’t feel the need to take phone orders. If that’s the case, I admire their success and wish them continued growth. Still, it would be wonderful if they could have someone available to take to-go orders in the future.
I live only five minutes away and pass this restaurant daily on my way home, but I simply don’t have the time to sit and wait inside for food to be prepared. I really hope they consider offering a call-in option soon, because I’d love to support them more often.
