Our founder Rusty Fenton’s dream was to bring the authentic taco stand experience to local communities and to become the neighborhood taco stand. The dream became reality when the first Rusty Taco opened in a converted gas station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, TX in 2010. But Rusty Taco is more than just a place for street tacos. Rusty also believed in serving the community and creating a place where people from all walks of life can come together and feel welcome. We are passionate about what we do and keep our menu fresh and simple. Deliciously uncomplicated tacos crafted by hand with recipes created by our founder, who famously said: “Tacos are the Most Important Meal of the Day®”!

Pickup order was ready a little ahead of time. Egg & cheese tacos seemed a bit light on cheese, but otherwise okay. Fajita taco was up to usual standards. Overall quality was fine. Definitely keeping Rusty’s on our go-to for good fast food.

Love their tacos. They have a nice variety. Great beer on tap. The service is quick. The tacos are always good. I wish they had refried beans for the breakfast tacos, but the black bean and egg was a good substitute. The brisket is great.

We ordered 2 tacos, a taco bowl, a beer, a swirl and chips with queso and it was $30. Service was good. The food was amazing and plenty for 2. One of the tacos neither of us cared for but that was a flavor preference, not an issue with the taco. I did not like the flavor of the swirl margarita at all but I did finish it and it definitely gave me a good buzz for the $8 (even cheaper on Mondays and Tuesdays). They serve Coke products as well

Food was OK. Too much rice as filler in the elote friters made them mushy and tasting like they were trying to stretch a buck. Didn’t expect shredded pork for the pastor tacos, seemed like they tried to multi purpose the shredded pork by just adding some pineapple to imitate the flavor instead of making actual el pastor tacos. Neither me or my friend finished anything of what we ordered.

This was my first time here and I love the atmosphere. I didn’t no what to order because of my food allergies but Janeli was so patient. She explained all of the tacos and nachos. I took 2 of her recommendations but ate the first one (Baja shrimp taco) before I can get out my camera. The second one (Buffalo chicken nachos) is what you see below. I love it. The first time my wife and I went, we got the Birria tacos and they were phenomenal! The margaritas were on point and very strong. We decided to go back and take our kids with us to get some tacos for dinner. It turned out to be a pretty terrible experience after all. They got our order wrong in multiple ways. The management was dismissive and did not seem very pleased to have to fix my order that they messed up. One taco had a tiny little roach in it. It literally crawled out of the taco while I was talking to the manager and she just slid the taco off the counter into the trashcan and didn’t say a word. No, “I’m sorry about that.” No “let me get that fixed for you.” She just walked off. She eventually brought me a remake of the taco, but by then I really didn’t want to eat there anymore. She also brought me a bunch of coupons for free tacos in the future, but do I really want to go back? Not if they have bugs in their food! I was really grossed out. Mostly I was disappointed that the management seemed so flippant about all of it.

Had a great experience here. The food was great, and the margaritas were even better lol. Service was good and our food came out in a good time. It is a little on the pricey side with the taco prices, but other than that, I enjoyed this place.

Great place to take your family, the manager Brian is awesome! Definitely took care of us and made sure that we got great deals and took advantage of happy hour. As you can see the tacos are delicious and affordable! Perfect way to make sure that you don’t overeat order two tacos and go for the third one if you have the urge!
