Was showing property in the area and stopped by for a bite to eat. The western omelette and hash browns were really good. Hubby said the biscuits and gravy were very tasty and biscuits were soft and fluffy. Waitress was friendly and attentive. If there was one negative it would be it was a little unkept.

Stopped in this town on a motorcycle trip waiting for the storm to pass over ended up going across the street from Casey’s to eat at this Cafe was very surprised staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was Western and very clean. the food was very delicious was surprised by the quality of the food. Most of the group had the buffet ended up being $11 for buffet an water which is cheap anymore of quality was definitely there.

Great restaurant. Provides both smoking and non smoking sections. We’ve come here several times and even during their busiest rush the waitresses are still very attentive. Food comes out tasting delicious even if it does take a little longer (made from scratch). If you’re looking for a place to stop along Highway 60 don’t hesitate to stop here and enjoy yourself.

Stopped in for an early dinner. Had country fried steak with french fries and the salad bar. The country fried steak was excellent! Probably one of the best I’ve had. Inside was clean. They have a smokers section in the back. I was surprised to see it, although it did not bother me. Will stop back in next time through town for sure!

I ordered a starter of the fried mushrooms and for the main dish I ordered a double hamburger with cheese and bacon with fries, the mushrooms were fair tasting they were hot when served, the meat on the burger was dry and no seasoning, very plain, just a little bit of bacon on the burger, the sweet tea was good but service was not good I had to ask for more tea to get any but they were busy and they had a hard time keeping up with everyone, they also have a section for smoking and it isn’t ventilated good and the cigarette smoke flows into the nonsmoking side, not good

We stopped late Tuesday evening as we were traveling through Seymour, MO, and found this awesome little café. Although I didn’t get a picture of my meal I had grilled chicken with sautéed broccoli, onions and cabbage. It was so delicious as well as a huge portion. My husband have the hamburger steak with brown gravy and onions and mushrooms over the top. He also had mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. He also enjoyed it.
Wish I would’ve had room for a slice of pie as they all looked delicious.
The people working at the café were super nice and I hope that we get to stop by again another day.
