We popped in for a cold one and a bite to eat. We were not disappointed.
I ordered a sampler platter and the only downfall was way too much tater in the potato skins!! Scoop some of that outta there and they would’ve been spot on!!
My better half got a special burger and said it was delish!! Made with excellent beef!!!
The atmosphere was laid back and casual. Our waitress was great.
Should we ever be in their neighborhood again; we’ll pop back

If you’re looking for burnt food that takes over an hour to come out check out Rustler’s. My family and I have previously loved this place so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt despite the recent poor reviews. The only positive tonight was the awesome bartender Maddie! The street corn dip took 45 minutes to come out, our entrees took an hour and they were less than impressive. The haddock and scallops were burnt, the green beans and potatoes were cold, and the “rare” prime rib was definitely not rare.. super bummed to wait so long for such disappointing food.

We went the other night after seeing AMAZING food and vacationing around the area. Maddie was an excellent server, but the kitchen was definitely not on its game. Our baked haddock and scallops were burned on the bottom, my husbands chicken was cold, the potato was half baked, the salad had greens turning rust and I can only commend the house vegetables, coleslaw and fries. Terribly disappointed. Spent over $100 and would be hard pressed to return or recommend.

Holy moly this place makes some fantastic food! Stopped here to grab a bite while on the road and found this gem of a restaurant. The scallops wrapped in bacon were amazing and such a delicious sauce. My Ribeye was among the best I’ve ever eaten, I was so impressed. The waitress was wonderful herself, couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We met some family here and it was not great. For starters our table had a few French fries on it so it was obviously not wiped down.
I used the restroom but turned around and decided to wait. Not only was the bathroom disgusting with hair and other bodily functions on the toilet but the toilet seat was cracked and the other stall was not much better.. So disgusting.
The server was pleasant and we had no problems with her.
We had different items to eat and the food was on a scale from 1-10 a 5.
We wont go back.

This place rocks. The prime rib is the cats meow. It’s a little bit of a wait but totally worth it. The staff is friendly and nice. Once you set down you are waited on very well. I would recommend this steakhouse over any place In portland. Worth the drive if you’re visiting the lakes region. I haven’t been since the new move across the street but I love the new spot. Same great service and same great food. 10 out 10 would recommend. I liked it so much I left the waitress a 100 dollar tip!!!

Went to this restaurant after a movie in Windham.Their was seven of us in the party and I was looking foward to some stake an potato. Three of us ordered a baked potato with our meal. The potatoes were not fully cooked. The server took them back and bought back new ones, those were not fully cooked. We asked for fries, those were cooked.
My stake was cooked right but it had no taste at all. I eaten half of it and gave my dog the rest when I got home. I wouldn’t be going back.

My friend was in from out of town and in the mood for a steak. Rustlers is the only steakhouse around so we went. The table was so sticky that our arms stuck to it. We asked the waitress to wipe it down and she never returned. We each ordered filet and after a long wait they came out very well done and dry as can be. We ordered medium and these were burned. I ordered green beans and was served squash and the baked potatoes were hard as a rock. We never saw our waitress but a young lady delivered our food so we asked her to grab our waitress. She came over and said the BAKED potatoes were steamed and replaced them with squash. We didn’t complain about the meat because we didn’t want to wait another half hour for another. I emailed the manager and the waitress lied to her about the entire experience and while the manager offered many excuses nothing was done about it. The only reason we tipped is because the young lady did her job. We spent $150 that night and will not return. You can’t charge Portland prices and have poor quality. I recommend Rose’s Italian food as we are always happy there.

It was good, but not great. Steak House in the name but only has four steak options on the menu. Ordered a sirloin medium but it was very well done. Portion sizes for the sides is pretty small. The taste was good but not amazing, I had the steak at Applebee’s yesterday and it was better, bigger, and cheaper… And cooked to the requested temperature.
