Went for a walk to Hamilton Park and literally got pulled in by the smell coming from this spot. I think their pizza deserves a bit more credit than what Google Reviews give them. That said, I only grabbed a slice to go, so I can’t really speak on the ambience or service—but based on that slice alone? Not bad at all.

Rustique is great place to get brickoven pizza Really love the food, atmosphere, and staff! The restaurant has chill vibes and is a great place to stop by after a long day of work. I highly recommend the margarita pizza that they’re famous for! Their menu has so many options for pastas, pizzas, salads, and all sorts of other good eats!

Some argue sauce determines a good pizza. Others claim it’s the crust. Rustique has discovered the perfect sauce AND crust, married them, with toppings of your choice to produce a knock your socks off yummy tasty pizza that will become your new gold standard and what you will compare every other pizza to.
It’s amazing enough we sometimes travel from Vermont down to the city when we get the crave. And we take a pie home (photo of pizza with a green background is Rustique pizza in Vermont)
Salads are fresh and delicious.
Cheesecake is stunning. Heavenly and addicting. I don’t even like cheesecake, my companion insisted I try a bite, since that one bite I’m hooked. Not cheesecake from anywhere mind you, only cheesecake from Rustique.

Placed my order at 7:30PM.
After an hour and a half of waiting (9PM), I called them to check on the status and the guy who answered the call said it’ll be here in 20 mins.
Another hour passed (10PM) and I called them again to check on the status. I talked to the same guy I spoke with earlier and hust said “it’s in the oven now” – without even giving an apology for the delay.
I, of course, complained about the situation and questioned why it takes 3 hours – and he just said “we’re backed up right now” – again, without giving an apology. Also, why didn’t he tell me that when I called the first time, instead of misleading me that I was gonna get it in 20 mins.
The order finally arrived at 10:30PM. 3 hours after being placed.
I’m only now seeing the 1 star reviews from people sharing the same experiences. My mistake for not thoroughly checking the reviews before ordering from them. So if you plan on getting delivery, you might wanna save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. In fact, I would just avoid this place overall for this bad experience and their lack of good customer service.

Delicious pizza consistently. Jersey city is the place to get it. We love Rustique. The Tammy, the prosciutto arugula and Margherita are our favorites. We live out of state and my kids love the prosciutto pizza so much they request a sourdough version at home. Great crust, toppings and flavors!

Monica was my server tonight, and she has the most pleasant and warmest demeanor. Professional. Thorough. I’ve been in the industry for ten years – fantastic server. I felt welcomed immediately.
I’ve had their Sicilian pizza delivered before (best damn Sicilian in Jersey City) so I came in person to try their Caesar and Pasta and Meatballs. Not bad! The pasta sauce needed a touch more salt, but once it did it was perfect and flavorful. I will be coming back, whether to dine in or order delivery!

Consistently delicious for all the years I’ve gone here. Probably my favorite pizza place I’ve ever been to. I recommend going here and getting a half margarita half Kathy and eating it fresh immediately. It’s really excellent.

Rustique’s pizza is great. Their Margherita Pizza has a light sauce and soft crusts perfect for folding.
&&& their wings are AMAZING. I did not expect a pizzareia’s wings to be so good. My fav was BBQ but Buffalo was also great.
They also had an amazingly fast delivery time – I ordered on a Friday night at 6 and it got to me within 30 minutes … a pleasant surprise!
