Not so hidden, but still a gem in Flowermound. I would suggest reservations, but they do take walk ins. We were greeted by a friendly hostess, waited just a bit for our table to be ready and were offered an meatball (or two) while we waited. Once we were sat, Christopher, our server took great care of us, explaining the menu, asking if we had any questions. We had the meatballs as an an app, and they were perfect. Next up the wedge salad with an amazing dressing. The filet was next, cooked to perfection. We added lobster tails and the scallops which were prepared perfectly. The Chocolate Something for dessert was to die for! Highly recommend Rustico for any occasion, but it also delivers for those special nights out as well.

First of all, I highly recommend this restaurant. They’ve got a tremendous comprehensive menu and reasonable prices. The service is outstanding and Davis did a great job making me feel welcome and taking care of my demanding needs. The shrimp dip was amazing and easily enough for three or four people. I am a huge fan of au gratin potatoes and theirs is among the best. I had the blackened red fish. The itself was very good, but not at all spicy. And I really didn’t care for the tomato cream sauce, but that is just me. It may have been the fact that it was on dirty rice that made it not great for my taste. I really look forward to my next visit to try some of the other staples. I sampled the bread pudding for dessert. It was very good but I would’ve liked it better with raisins. Lol

We visited this restaurant for the first time, and while it’s quite far from where we live, I have to say — it was worth the drive. The ambiance was excellent. The service stood out as well — the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed.
Now coming to the food — it was absolutely delicious. At first, I wondered why this place had so many 5-star reviews, but after experiencing it myself, I completely understand. The quality, flavor, and presentation of the dishes made it feel well worth it. Despite the distance, this spot is definitely going on our list of places to return to.

This is a Go To place in Flower Mound. GREAT happy hour specials – 1/2 price drinks. The restaurant atmosphere is relaxed, quiet and hopping if that even makes sense. Service is exceptional. Menu is extensive and wide ranging in price – from pizza to steaks and seafood. Try the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, the steaks, the scallops. The BG margarita is worth the price…during happy hour Just try it all, everything is outstanding.

Went for the first time to celebrate my birthday and wow, I have no idea why it took us so long to go! The food was excellent, but the attentive service will definitely keep us going back. We truly felt like VIPs. Didn’t get a photo of the stuffed mushrooms appetizer but they were amazing. Salmon with lump crab and horseradish mashed potatoes, 9 oz filet with loaded baked potato, and the bread pudding and cheesecake were all top notch. Thank you for helping to make our first visit so memorable!

First time here. Game night and it was packed. Waited an additional 40 minutes past reservation but the service was exceptional and we were offered a complementary appetizer for the inconvenience. I think the prices were a little on the high end but the food was fabulous. We started with the charcuterie board which had a great variety. We had the ribeye the sliced beef over jasmine rice with chimichurri sauce and chicken marsala with scalloped potatoes. Everyone raved about the quality. The chicken was so tender it could be cut with a fork. Our server was extremely knowledgeable friendly and prompt. There was a little bit of a delay getting drinks from the bar but given how packed it was it’s understandable. None of us had room for dessert. We will be back!

We visited Rústico today. I had one of the special menu items; special number three, the Chilean bass plate with a side order of grilled asparagus.
The bass was a bit Gelatinous; the fish lacked the flaky nature.
The grill asparagus was too stringy.
My overall experience with that plate was not the best.

We went on a Monday during the holiday season and it was pretty busy. Warm,friendly and knowledgeable staff. Being our first time,our host made it easy to make a quick choice and it was worth it. Service was prompt and great despite a full house. Will definitely recommend!
